Restaurant proposing plates composed of local products.

A native of Auvergne with a passion for cooking, Laurent Rigal likes to sublimate the finest local produce without too much artifice. A sincere cuisine in the Lyon spirit passed on to the chef by a certain Paul Bocuse, who convinced him to set up behind the Alexandrin's stoves over 25 years ago. In a contemporary dining room that's both bright and warm, the dishes feature local produce enhanced by surprising flavors, such as this pike-perch pavé in herbaceous hazelnut breadcrumbs. Superbe expérience à l'Alexandrin. Nous avons pris le menu dégustation 6 plats au choix du chef. J'avais un peu d'appréhension car je suis réputée pour être difficile. Et bien je n'ai pas été déçue, j'ai "pris des risques" et me suis réconciliée avec le champignon et la châtaigne par exemple, et le chef a sut s'adapter à mes allergies. Les accords mets et vins étaient excellents (sauf pour un vin que je n'ai pas fini), et mention spéciale pour la madeleine : des frissons d'émotion !
Et bien sûr on apprécie la sympathie et l'esprit convivial du chef et de toute l'équipe
