Unique in Lyon. For over 20 years, the Lyon Dakar has been the gourmet embassy of West Africa. Here, hospitality is a way of life, sharing good cheer with the adorable Samy and his team. A joy to be found in the dishes of the excellent Fatou Kine, an authentic Senegalese chef, who honors the specialties of her country. Starting with the famous thieboudiene, Senegal's national dish, a meat thiep or grilled sea bass. Rum tasting. Vegetarians welcome. A destination for pleasure.

Open Tuesday to Saturday, 11am to 2pm and 7pm to 10:30pm. Open until 11pm on weekends. Menus from €19.50 to €28. Lunch menu: €14.90. Take-away sales.

Lyon Dakar is a Senegalese restaurant that offers unforgettable flavors.
An invitation to travel through copious and varied dishes like bessap, thiou or beef maffé. Quality dishes, prepared with care by two Senegalese cooks.
The welcome is as generous as the cooking, since Samy, the owner, will be able to initiate you and advise you when choosing the dishes.
As for the bill, it is rather sweet with a very good quality/price ratio.
