Bolozon (90 inhabitants) is located on the banks of the Ain. The village is close to two notable sites: the Cize-Bozon viaduct and the gorges of the Ain. The first is an impressive rail and road bridge that spans the Ain at a height of 73 m and a length of 273 m. Two levels allow each mode of transport to cross independently. Built in 1872-75, it was destroyed in 1944 and rebuilt the following year. The gorges of the Ain represent an invaluable natural wealth for the region. From Bolozon, you can follow them northwards to the lake of Coiselet (25 km), or southwards to Poncin (16 km)
