The Massif massif, a pearl in a mountain setting, the Hautes-Alpes, houses two stations: SuperDévoluy and La Coeur du Loup, the first being located on the municipality of Saint-Etienne-en-Dévoluy, the other on the territory of Agnières-en-Dévoluy. The first station to have been created in 1966 is SuperDévoluy, from a large, slightly curved building called Le Paquebot des Neiges. Little by little, other buildings and housing units spread around this basic structure, thereby changing the landscape. As for La Coeur du Loup, it is a village that presents a set of chalets of all sizes. The Pierra (2 500 m) is the top of the ski area. The panorama is striking: The valley, Le Grand Ferrand (2 759 m), L'Obiou (2 790 m), Les Crêtes de Farraud (Head de Claudel 2 563 m), and further the Ecrins Bar. The municipality lives in both tourism and agriculture, its two main resources. The two stations are connected by a ski area which offers a variety of paths where everyone can find their happiness. This is a total of 100 km of slopes on a difference of 1 000 meters. In the area of Du, there is a snow containing a hectare of bumps and turns recorded (under the Lift lift): Mushroom's Park is thus the rendezvous of freestyle fans. Friendly with its cool zone and open to everyone, we cross all the riders from the station. What's new is two new big air bag (open Wednesday to Sunday to the Snow and Sur snow front). Notice to fans of strong sensations! Cross-country skiing fans have 35 km of trails reserved for them (skating and alternative): The northern slope of the Collet du Tât (1 613 m) where you can find a wide variety of landscapes with clearings, woods, large crossings in the west balcony, from 1 440 m to 1 640 m high. This area is also very well adapted to the practice of hiking skiing: with Le Rama (2 379 m), Le Rocher Rond (2 453 m), La Tête de l'Aupet (2 627 m), the Dévoluy is undoubtedly one of the most suitable mountains in the South Alps for ski touring. Around this beautiful, perched valley, there is a succession of valleys and so many itineraries. On the other hand, the foot of the Pic peak at the top of the Sommarel Ski Lift (2 375 m), the Sow of the Sow or the Red Cap reserve free-ride spaces for many of them. If you don't ski or enjoy hiking in the snow, please note that 30 km of marked, secure and arranged pedestrian trails and tables, as well as themed totem, are waiting for you. Also to be made in snowshoes! Here it is also possible to practice snowmobile, ice climbing, snowkite, but also ski joëring or pony-sledge. For children, there are snow gardens and two day care centres: P'tits Elves and P'tits Wolves.Animations in SuperDévoluy and La Cheek du Loup are varied: climbing torchlight or candlelight, night skiing, sumo fights, dancing evenings, evenings at the corner of the fire, bonhomme contests, night treasure hunts, déliregliss, luge races, children's shows, fairy tales, cabaret or karaoke. At night, Dévoluy wears its festive clothes and takes a particularly warm and convivial hue. Please be aware that you will find two cinemas in each of the two stations and that farms are open for the visit. Walks at the heritage are to be done alone or with a guide in the surroundings: churches and chapels, including the Chapelle Chapel of the th century, called Mother-Church in Saint-Disdier-en-Dévoluy, banaux ovens, fountains, hamlets… The Dévoluy also has a variety of trees, as well as a diverse fauna and flora. Walks will be an opportunity to explore this generous and surprising nature. Be aware that water is scarce in Dévoluy. As on all limestone mountains, water flows mainly underground and arrives at the Gillardes. These are outbreaks, these sources are ranked second in France, after the Fontaine du Vaucluse. They have an important flow, both in summer and in winter, so that the water comes out here, with a fabulous power. The Gillardes is also a steep 400 m cliff, which has always attracted climbers. It should be noted that René Demaison has opened 12 lanes in the Dévoluy massif, including: Eastern Pillar of Bure's Peak with André Bertrand and Yves Pollet-villard, the Gillardes (wall of the Vaults) with José Giovanni (filmmaker), Pierre Mazeaud. On the culinary side, you can enjoy local products such as clams, tourtons, ravioles, donkeys, lamb of the Dévoluy…Dévoluy, these are two stations, two atmospheres, for twice as much pleasure and opportunities for fun!
