Travel Guide Usseau

The history of Usseau is closely linked to its castle of the Motte (XVth century) which proudly overhangs the village. The latter owes its name to the motte on which it is built. After having gone through the vicissitudes of history, the castle now offers comfortable guest rooms and can be visited during the summer. In order to preserve the artisanal traditions of the commune, the municipality has rehabilitated the old blacksmith's workshop and has installed a museum exhibiting the tools of the artisan. As for activities, the equestrian center La Cavalerie du Moulin offers horse-drawn carriage rides and supervised excursions for all levels.
