The European capital of thermal dermatology, La Roche-Posay is home to half of all dermatological cures in France. Nestled between the Poitou, Berry and Touraine regions, it boasts a spa, a thermal center and a laboratory for the manufacture of beauty and skincare products. 7,500 curists come here every year to recharge their batteries. The secret of this water, recognized for its virtues by the Académie des Sciences as early as the 16th century, is a neutral pH, the presence of selenium, silica, bicarbonate, calcium and great purity.
