A dynasty of chocolatiers since 1895, or the fabulous story of 5 generations of craftsmen who perpetuate a taste heritage unique to the Basque Country. Chocolates, Kanougas® - soft caramel, the historic signature -, Mouchou®, Espelines®, Basque cakes, tourons, pastries, ice creams. An institution that continues to delight all generations of gourmets with its unmissable ancestral recipes, as well as new ones using the best selected raw materials, such as the finest cocoa and vanilla from Madagascar, almonds from Catalonia, etc.

Online store. In winter, open Monday to Saturday 9am-1pm/14.30pm-7pm, Sunday 9am-1pm. In summer, 7 days a week, 9am-7.30pm. EPV and EFC labels.

Owner's Message

Present for more than 120 years in the Basque Country, with the 5th generation already in the lead, the Maison Pariès never ceases to innovate by delighting the taste buds of the most gourmet every day!

We invite you to come and share our passion around a discovery tour of our workshops from Tuesday to Saturday

You will be able to enter the world of confectionery and pastry in the presence of our chocolate, confectionery and pastry workers. At the end of the visit we will have the pleasure to welcome you for a tasting of our 5 Basque artisanal specialities.

Excellente boutique que l'on peut visiter . Très bon. Choix de chocolat et gâteaux ... Un seul regret : pas de dégustation ou alors minimaliste.

Les diverses versions de gâteau basque sont excellentes, mais une mention spéciale pour la nouveauté de l'année avec le gâteau basque aux agrumes : c'est une "tuerie".
Pour la visite en période estivale, nous n'avons pas eu la chance d'assister à l'élaboration du gâteau basque proprement dit car elle se faisait très tôt le matin ... à 9h30, heure des visites, tout était terminé !!
