In the heart of this typical village at the foot of the Rhune, Arka is an artisan pork butcher and cook: he honors Kintoa PDO pork in additive-free recipes, in a setting that combines generous cuisine, a warm welcome and local know-how. A gîte, a gourmet bistro and a store (preserves, home-made cured meats, wines, spirits, etc.) enhance this gourmet stopover on Basque soil. Here, pork is king: cured meats, Kintoa ham, terrine, pâté en croûte, Xixon croquettes... For fish lovers of the moment, trout in gravelax.

Nous avons adoré ce restaurant où la qualité de la cuisine est extraordinaire. La planche de charcuterie, ou encore les plats ou desserts sont faits à partir de produit locaux, et notamment le porc Kintoa qui est mis à toute les sauces! J'ai vraiment adoré, quel régal! De surcroît le personnel est agréable, il n'y a que peu d'attente malgré le resto plein, donc c'est très très bien géré. Ce bistro original est une superbe découverte !!
