In the heart of Sare, for 3 generations of bakers, Mirentxu and Jean-Michel have been delighting the Saratars (name of the inhabitants of Sare) and tourists. It is here that the Basque cake is made to perfection. Already, we are attracted by the smell of baking bread and pastries which is proof that "home-made" is the trademark here and we let you taste before buying: shortbread, Basque cherry or cream cakes, cakes, savoury tarts, quiches, salads and pizzas and this very wide variety of breads made in the Sare workshop.
