Located on the axis Masseube-Auch, on the D929, the small village of Ornézan extends on both sides of this road. It shelters a large castle of the XIIIth and XIVth centuries leaning against the river of Gers and framed by two impressive square towers. Its construction led to the development of a village. The very pretty church of Sainte-Catherine, built at the end of the Middle Ages, is marked by a tower-gate, a rather characteristic feature in this part of the Gers. It has a magnificent carved wooden altarpiece classified as a historical monument. A village to discover. The village also has an old water mill.
