Less than 5 kilometers from Jarny, Giraumont is a small village known for the castle of Tichémont. Former stronghold of the Duchy of Bar, the castle has undergone transformations over the years. The company of the iron mines of Giraumont acquired it at the beginning of the 20th century and saved it from ruin by giving it back all its former glory. It should be noted that from 1912 to 1978, Giraumont housed an iron mine, generating an influx of population. Still at the castle of Tichémont, do not miss its terraced gardens, a beautiful curiosity in Lorraine.
