From the village of Saint-Ferriol, perched on a rocky outcrop, you can see two valleys, one on the Aude side and the other on the Pyrénées-Orientales side. It is built around its church dating from the 18th century, in the center of the village, almost next to the castle. The castle of Saint-Ferriol, which dates from the 16th century, is a well-preserved example of the architecture of this pivotal period at the end of the Renaissance. It is now used for events and can be visited. The commune has a remarkable natural heritage: a Natura 2000 site (the "hautes Corbières") and a natural area of ecological, faunistic and floristic interest within the Pays de Sault
