Don't miss to visit this small village "at the end of the world". Moreover, it is not complicated, the road stops there! This beautiful mountain hamlet at 1 050 meters above sea level overlooks the entire valley. Completely isolated, it enjoys absolute calm and a breathtaking view of Piedmont. Apparently, the Clat was already mentioned in the year 1069 texts, which narraient the territorial right of the castle of Dournes, which today remains only ruins near Fontanès-de-Sault. The Clat has been living in potato cultivation since 1792, the famous potato in the country of Sault, whose good growth is guaranteed by optimum culture conditions. Finally, the climate sufficiently wet and the cool temperatures linked to altitude give it ideal conservation conditions. The village is a starting point for a walk entitled «Miaura Forest - No Bear»; beautiful loop with a difference of 1 300 meters for the most brave (count 2 h 30) and for which you will have to cross cattle parks. It is almost regrettable that the road goes back to Axat; observed by the only cows, goats and sheep grazing in their vast meadows without enclosures.
