A long village located at the foot of the Vosges mountains. It owes its name to its castle, which can be reached by a footpath. Built in the 12th century on the hill with the sweet name of Montagnes des Boules, nothing remained of this building, probably destroyed around 1375, before intensive excavations uncovered some of its remains. On site, apart from golf, the programme of celebrations is quite limited: a game of tobacco-fishing, a retirement home and a small flat restaurant on the corner of the street which makes up the main part of the nightlife with its theme evenings.
