A true emblem of the city, the canelé is a small vanilla- and rum-scented pastry with a soft texture that's both tender on the inside and crisp on the outside. Ideally located in the heart of rue Sainte-Catherine, this boutique offers these marvels in three formats, as well as other specialties such as apple and prune tourtière, chocolate fondant, caramels with canelé chips, and even canelé-flavored beer!

Owner's Message
The Canelé is a small cake flavored with rum and vanilla. Several batches per day and a production in the respect of the traditions delivers you very greedy Canelés, crunchy outside and soft inside, a delight!
Available in several sizes, the Canelé is suitable for both relaxing and festive moments. The Gros (60g) is ideal as a dessert and can be accompanied by a tasty custard or a red fruit coulis. The Lunch (30g) can be enjoyed as a sweet treat in a gourmet coffee. The Bouchée (17g) is perfect for cocktails.
For those with a sweet tooth, La Toque Cuivrée also offers tourtières, Basque cakes, caramels with Canelés chips and verrines of Canelés with rum syrup!
