The municipality of Parnoy-en-Bassigny was born from the merger between Parnot and Fresnoy-en-Bassigny. Interesting for our Notre-Dame-des-Ruaux chapel in the village of Parnot, dating from the th century, with a large rock, in a pretty site. This big rock makes it look like a menhir, but the resemblance between this rock and those of the cliff, rather, seems to be détaché. Altarpiece th century, Virgin to children in polychrome wood. Next to the altar, another Virgin to the Child, in statue, very damaged by the Revolution. Two kilometres north of Fresnoy village, don't miss the famous Abbaye Abbey.
