Less than an hour from his cousins Vosges, Et and Contrexeville, Bourbonne-les-Bains is the only spa resort in the Champagne-Ardenne region. A welcoming small town that this city animated and built on the location of an ancient Roman station, Lindesina, whose remains are located at the municipal museum: votive and funerary stelas. For a reading, the library offers 18 000 volumes to page powered. The thermal baths are very well equipped - Bourbonne-les-Bains features the particularity of having a functional rehabilitation centre in situ in conjunction with the thermal establishment - and there are many hotels nearby to settle or still have furnished. The Tourist Office provides a detailed list. The main part of Bourbonne activity comes from cures, this small town gets dormant in low season, but when the cure season begins, Bourbonne awakens and becomes dynamic and attractive. The surrounding areas of Bourbonne-les-Bains are already near Vosgian, forests and meadows, which are reinforced by the large village houses, typically Schönbrunn, equipped for cold and snow. Walk in the Banned Park of 102 ha, to see on foot, deer, biches and sheep at liberty. Montmorency's arboretum presents 230 species of trees around the world. Near Bourbonne-les-Bains, the amateurs will therefore visit the wine cellars of Coiffy, in Coiffy-le-Haut, which has once again produced, for a decade, the excellent wine of the slopes, white from chardonnay, gamay and Pinot noir for the reds. On the other side is the extraordinary point of view of the "point of Serqueux", which is a superb place for picnic. The position of Bourbonne-les-Bains is very privileged, on the edge of the Apance, nice and jonzac river, in a protected toilet which gives it a microclimate that is entirely beneficial for its softness, compared to the rigours of plateau de Langres. The corner is also nicknamed "Eastern Provence". Bourbonne-les-Bains, «green holiday station», is framed by the plateau to the south and west, but also by the Sickles Mountains extending east on the Haute-Saone and the Vosges. In the heart of the most forested region of France, Bourbonne-les-Bains sees its communal territory occupied by 50% by the forest. Close to the thermal baths, the casino has been opened since January 2006.
