Hargnies, a small, isolated village in the heart of the Ardennes forest, was home to three mills, including the Limbourg and Page mills, which are still in existence. A chapel in honor of its patron saint was built by the villagers. Today, this pleasant village is renowned for the talent of its pork butchers! So it's ideal to come here for a lunch break, or to fill up for an authentic picnic. Visit the church of Saint-Lambert, built in 1340, and the 18th-century chapel of Saint-Roch. In July, on the first Sunday of the year, the town hosts the Fête du Cheval, a celebration of the Ardennes draught horse.
