We will see the ancient abbey of the Sept-Fontaines. This majestic building, called the Château of the Seven Fontaines, is the vestige of a preconceived abbey founded in 1129 and rebuilt in 1698. The abbatial castle was flanked by two wings assembled by a lower gallery. Now missing, they were replaced in 1908 by the two current towers. Guillaume II installed a casino in the First World War. General de Gaulle, husband of Yvonne Vendroux, whose family owned the castle, liked to stroll through the park and make frequent trips. This exceptional setting is today that of a high-end hotel-restaurant with 9 and 18 holes golf.
