Huisseau-sur-Cosson is a small village located in what is known as the "Golden Triangle of the Loire castles". It is the ideal location to visit the royal wonders of the region, such as Chambord, Cheverny and Blois. It owes part of its name to the Cosson, a small tributary river of the Loire. Its gothic chapel, Saint-My, is a 10th century tribute to this hermit known for curing ailments. Note also that every Wednesday a market takes place on the Place des Commerce. It is an opportunity to discover the producers of the region and their key products such as asparagus and strawberries from Sologne. A very appreciable gourmet break after the effort.
