The commune of Cluis boasts a number of remarkable sites. On the fairground, you can admire the 17th-century covered market with its superb roof structure, the 13th-century church and the former manor house of Cluis-Dessus, dating from the 15th and 17th centuries and now housing the town hall. The town hall also houses three Aubusson tapestries dating from the 17th to 18th centuries. Monoxyle sarcophagi (made from a single piece of wood) from the 10th century, in a fine state of preservation, can be seen in the François-Bailly library. The commune has just under 1,000 inhabitants.
