Visit the thermal district, starting on the Avenue des Thermes to discover the Roman thermal baths built between the 1st and 4th centuries. Continue to the thermal establishment inspired by the Basilica of Constantine, the work of the architect Ledru; in the hall, admire the ribbed vaults, stained-glass windows, woodwork and ironwork. Continue on to the Eugénie refreshment bar, the Velleda spring, then the grand hotels Métropole, Royat-Palace, Castel-Hôtel, with their sculpted pediments, the Art Deco casino and the theatre, and the Goutteux fountain, former thermal baths with original and aesthetic architecture. You can also visit the works of the sculptor Raoul Mabru. Finally, the thermal park offers a pleasant stroll along the Tiretaine.
