Save room for desserts that are also crazy. On the bar side, the aperitifs are tasty, with a buffet for a rich snack. People come here to drink a good homemade beer, a cocktail or wine. The menu is surprisingly inexpensive, the kitchens have fairly flexible schedules and even if you come here a lot for a drink, the plates are of good quality. Like this unforgettable Ligurian rabbit, deliciously prepared with its small vegetables and homemade sauce.

Without doubt the best restaurant in the village, in the heart of the little streets of Canazei. An address that takes as much care of its plates as its glasses. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, whether you're sitting at one of the large tables, or at the counter chatting with the cheeky waiters. It's hard to choose, but the sliced beef with mushrooms and vegetables, washed down with a pinot gris, was divine, as was the pork shank with polenta flavored with fresh mushrooms. The desserts are just as tempting and hearty, so save room!

Nice bistro nestled in a passage not far from the castle, appreciated by the Tridentines for the lunch break. You can eat well and quickly (salads, dishes, burgers...). A historic brewery-restaurant with a beautiful wood-panelled room and chandeliers. It offers South Tyrolean cuisine and craft beers. The waiters move between the tables in traditional costume. A fresh giant pretzel bread is served with the nonna salad, speck chips, trentignana (a kind of parmesan cheese) and honey sauce. Try the pork goulash with canerderli (Tyrolean dumplings), also known as knödels, a must. A little too touristy though.

Nice summer terrace for lunch under parasols. An address appreciated by the locals, which we can only recommend.

Self-service is the order of the day, but traditional dishes are prepared with care and in gargantuan quantities. You'll appreciate the immense terrace at 2,000 meters altitude and the sublime views, summer and winter alike. Inside, benches are covered with warm sheepskins, while a fire in a central stove warms the room.

Located in the heart of Brunico's pedestrian streets on a small square, this unpretentious pizzeria spreads out its tables on the terrace. For a change from speck and mountain specialties, the address also offers dishes from southern Italy, such as lamb stew with Pugliese asparagus. But the great specialty of the address is of course the pizza! The ingredients are fresh and tasty, the Neapolitan-style dough is uniquely crisp and the prices are low. This refuge-bar-restaurant is located at the top of the slopes of the Reda Crossa cable car. It is therefore only accessible during the day. It's renowned for its delicious plates of local specialities, fresh mushroom dishes when in season, and homemade cakes. It's an ideal place for families: in summer, there's a playground out front, and many hiking trails start from the refuge. In winter, it's right in the middle of the slopes and the starting point for a 5 km toboggan run!
