Things to see and do Campania

A small architectural jewel of the peninsula, the church of Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi dates back to 1745. There is the statue of the patron saint of the village, in a small side chapel, but above all the precious altar made in 1600, in mother-of-pearl and inlaid marble, by Dioniso Lazzari. The latter, son of the artist who made the altar of Sorrento Cathedral, is the descendant of a prestigious family of Florentine Renaissance craftsmen.

At the bottom of Agropoli city center are the lungomare and its beautiful beach, enjoy a long walk along the harbor and do not hesitate to stop in one of the many cafés or restaurants. A little further, you will find a long sandy beach, really very pleasant but careful, it is invaded in summer by the inhabitants of Campania.
