Housed in a crater with almost perfectly circular contour, Pavin Lake has a supernatural appearance. According to season and climate, its waters vary from turquoise blue to very dark grey, due to the depth of its centre: 93 metres. Legend tells us that it houses a submerged city, drowned by the Devil's tears! If it is a natural curiosity, it does not pose any danger. A trail allows you to turn around in 1 h at the edge of the wood surrounding it.

You will surely be married to fishermen and mountaineers who also enjoy this atypical decor.

In recent years, Annecy's landscapes have been enriched by artistic works linking elements of the local heritage, starting with nature and architecture. Year after year, summer after summer, a perennial trail of artistic and landscape installations has been built up in the urban area. There are some twenty works to be discovered as you stroll through the city with a poetic eye. A "sustainable" festival that renews itself every season to change our perception of our environment, inspiring all passers-by to preserve and improve it. A word of advice: prepare your itinerary (it's best to bike) or let yourself be surprised!

Don't be fooled by the term "semi marathon": You don't need to start a 21-kilometre race to take part in this sports event. 10 kilometres will be enough for the least experienced! Meet March 14 th, 2018 in Bourg-en-Bresse! 1 560 runners will drive on that day the streets of the city and the country roads. Counsel: register before J day, the rates will be more advantageous.

Tariff: € 12 for the 10 km (or 15 € on site), € 14 for the semi marathon (or € 19 on site).

The Glorieuses de Bresse will celebrate their 150 years in 2012. In fact, since 1862, at Christmas, Bourg-en-Bresse (on 14 December), Louhans (15 December), Pont-de-Vaux (16) and Montrevel (18) welcome the most beautiful poultry in Bresse. Turkey, capons, poulardes, plucked chickens, rolled, restricted and moulded into a vegetable canvas according to ancestral know-how, all the fine flower of Bresse's production - world AOC - is exposed and then put on sale after the competition under the covered market. Professionals, restaurateurs and personalities meet to reward the know-how of the bressans breeders, crowned by the restoration of a vase of Sèvres offered by the President of the Republic.

How do I take the last holidays in August? The Petit Smart services have been looking for a long time and have found a typical "La Chamblouserie" festival for you! We had to illustrate our Agenda page with a tradition that attracts crowds. Producer market, empty attic, exhibitions of artisans, the trip to Chambles has really been pleasant! Not only did we have fun in the morning until the evening with le ham and evening with a dancing aperitif, but we leave with a lot of shopping, including a famous basket filled with local products!

It's THE must-see event of the summer in Issoire! Every Friday evening (note the pun), the city center comes alive with free events and activities: night markets, concerts, outdoor film screenings, DJ sets, demonstrations... There is something for everyone! Each Friday evening has its own theme: family, sports, animals, world flavors, Auvergne day... For the occasion, some streets and boulevards become entirely pedestrian, allowing restaurants to extend their terraces. Convivial and festive!

Concerts in August. A centrepiece of cultural life, the Apple-en-Forez site has a strong tradition of musical production (concerts, recordings…) and a dynamic of growing recovery. The church has been able to retain its device of acoustic vases so that both the avertis and the occasional amateurs of concerts are of by the acoustic quality. It arouses a lot of enthusiasm from all renowned professional musicians.

Created in 1975, the International Comics Festival of Chambéry is the^second oldest festival of its kind in France after Angoulême. 20,000 visitors, 60 authors and three days of celebration... It welcomes artists of great notoriety, also reveals talents and makes the happiness of a public that rushes to meet cartoonists and scriptwriters and to shop. The elephant, symbol of the city, always appears on the poster entrusted each year to a different artist.

Organized by the city of Saint-Étienne, Festi'Mômes are shows for young audiences from the age of 7. They take place one Sunday a month, from September to December, in the Jeanne d'Arc room, near Place Chavanelle. At an attractive price (1 euro per seat per person), families can attend a quality cultural performance: circus, acrobatic and musical theatre, magic, art of illusion... The opportunity to discover enchanting shows that will delight young and old alike. The artists perform twice (11am and 3pm) on the Sundays concerned (generally the last Sunday of the month). A beautiful initiative allowing access to culture for all.

The Science Festival is a free national event. In St-Etienne, many activities, meetings and conferences are planned. Have you always wanted to know what nanoparticles are, practice virtual reality, know about reliable science YouTube channels? For a week, science is used to allow you to discover its contributions to our society and to approach science in a way that makes it closer and more accessible to all. So go to the planetarium, to the Ecole des Mines... there is something for everyone, young and old! Many activities are planned for children, even very young ones, to awaken them from an early age!

It's the traditional balloon festival on the occasion of the first flight on June 4, 1783. The walnut vogue is the oldest animation taking place in our region. This event officially exists since 1507! Some historians even date its existence to the 13th century! The event has evolved over time, initially the objective was to sell nuts, today it is a fair or vogue en gaga. This event ranks^3rd behind the Foire du Trône and the Foire de Nancy and is the first vogue in Europe in the city center. Young and old alike look forward to this festival every year, which brings together around 250 attractions. During 9 days, Firminy is celebrating! Do not miss: the very colorful parade!

The 11 th edition of Pérouges Spring will take place from May 26 th to June 25 th. The festival Spring de Pérouges-Plaine de l'Ain was born in October 1996. Its main objective was the valorisation and animation of the heritage sites of the city, including the medieval city of Pérouges, but also other prestigious sites such as some private castles in the vicinity of Pérouges, the Priory of Blyes, etc. The festival also brings an original value for industrial sites. Concerts were held at the TGV train STATION of Lyon Saint-Exupéry, the Boules de Saint-Vulbas, the Mill gin… A mix of rhythm and places to honour music.

For all those who like to hunt, find the rare object, who are looking to tinker... The Grande braderie d'automne in Chambéry is one of the most important flea markets in the region. Every year 50,000 visitors and more than 2,500 exhibitors settle in the city centre of the City of the Dukes. Good deals, vintage items, favorites and other finds to complete a collection, replace a lost item..... redecorate a room... Toys, furniture, crockery.... Trinkets, accessories, books... Take the plunge when the Albigny bay turns into a giant swimming pool for an exceptional race created in 1931 by the Annéciens Dolphins club. the program includes 4 races: 1 km and 2.4 km for experienced swimmers, 5 km for open water swimmers and the Holy Grail, with the 10 km race limited to 80 competitors. The kind of event, like the marathon, that you should do at least once in your life after having trained properly (it is a real sporting event). A popular festival that attracts a large audience around Lake Annecy.

The prestige of Megève would dream more than a passion for riding… yet the price of ski lifts is often unaffordable. If your portfolio denies you access, the area has 40 kilometres of Nordic ski slopes, fortunately more accessible. Their classical or alternating lines wind between ribs, replats, levelling and bois. Beginner or confirmed cross-fertilization, expand at your pace thanks to green, blue, red and black tracks.

Organized for 8 years by the ADABio association, this fair, which is held under the covered market in the city centre, brings together more than 50 exhibitors and receives 3,000 to 4,000 visitors. An opportunity for exchanges and discoveries for these visitors, this is a great time.
