Housed in a crater with almost perfectly circular contour, Pavin Lake has a supernatural appearance. According to season and climate, its waters vary from turquoise blue to very dark grey, due to the depth of its centre: 93 metres. Legend tells us that it houses a submerged city, drowned by the Devil's tears! If it is a natural curiosity, it does not pose any danger. A trail allows you to turn around in 1 h at the edge of the wood surrounding it.

You will surely be married to fishermen and mountaineers who also enjoy this atypical decor.

Promenade autour du lac très agréable avec les magnifiques couleurs d'automne. Le sentier est facile, ce lac a gardé son côté "sauvage" car pas d'aménagement en dehors de l'hôtel/maison d'information au départ de la balade (fermés à cette saison).
