Notice to film lovers! Created in 2010, this film festival honors a country each year (Spain in 2023, the USA in 2020, Iran in 2016...). During two weeks, the public can discover more than 70 films projected in various places of the Country of Issoire (Issoire, Apchat, Brassac-les-Mines...). Some films are shown for the first time in France, Europe or even the world! Master class and animations for children also punctuate the week.

Because Lyonnais and visitors alike forget that Lyon is a city of water, crossed by two great rivers, the Rhône and the Saône, the City of Lyon has put water at the center of a festival. At the beginning of July, the second edition will take place - the first having been a real success - of an event with a particularly rich program, with numerous free outdoor activities for all publics. Look out for the famous Mâchecroute, a sea monster, returning to the waters of the Rhône near the Guillotière bridge!

L'Embouteillage N7 de Lapalisse is an event that takes place every two years, on the second weekend in October. During this vintage weekend, enthusiasts from all over France and even Europe gather in the village of Lapalisse. This unique historical re-enactment lets you relive the atmosphere of vacation departures on the Nationale 7 in the 1950s and 1960s, with period vehicles (cars, caravans, motorcycles...) and participants dressed in retro clothing.

Back in the past every two years not to be missed in Lapalisse with the traffic jams of the years 1950-1960 of the departures in vacations on the national 7. The famous N7 is the opportunity to relive this beautiful era with about 1,000 vehicles present, cars, caravans, motorcycles ... Participants come from all over France and even Europe in period clothing. Vintage atmosphere guaranteed with animations, concerts, elegance contest and many exhibitors.

Epoqu'auto is another show with classic cars and motorcycles. It is organized by the Club des Amateurs d'Automobiles Anciennes since 1979. More than 80 000 visitors come to admire the vehicles during the three days of the show. Each year, some brands are honored, many clubs are present with their most beautiful models, but also dealers of parts, miniatures, restorers, artists. Without forgetting the auction allowing to see the evolution of the car market and eventually sell or buy a car.

Overheating of the zygomatic in sight: funny, funny, hilarious with the best of the national comedy scene in the program. Three evenings, three stages for a contest of the best comedian among the young promising talents present, and a renowned artist for Saturday evening. They will be about ten to have been selected, to present themselves to try to seduce the jury, but also the public. The Young Talents will open the ball on Thursday night! Complete program on line.

Riding down the snow-covered slopes on a toboggan is a sensation you'd love to be able to experience in any season. It's possible with summer tobogganing, a real sport and discipline in its own right at Le Jaillet. Judge for yourself with these figures: an average ride of 7 minutes, at a speed of 36 km/h, over 715 m of descent and 95 m of vertical drop. Guaranteed thrills for young and old (accompaniment required for ages 3 to 9). In winter as in summer, tobogganing is a must! Check out the speed radar, and smile, you're being photographed!

Because it's hotter in plain than on summits, it's good to be able to enjoy a family of water worthy of this name.

Five outdoor basins, one equipped with removable coverage, ponds for children, slide, playgrounds and picnic, there is nothing to spend a good time.

Every year, some twenty visiting troupes perform alongside professional artists and entertainers. Street entertainment and a medieval market, craft stalls and arts and crafts demonstrations, chivalry tournaments, music, juggling, fire artists, tightrope walkers, fire and animal shows, cabaret, tavern, cuisine, medieval feasts in the church of Saint-Marc, book fair and organ concert - you're sure to be transported to another era! An event not to be missed.

At the beginning of Chambon-sur-Lac, the 250 participants heat the engines to reach the summit of Mont-Dore, some 5 kilometers further! At a height of 381 m for an average slope of 7,5%, this stage of the France and Europe Championship celebrated its fiftieth edition in 2010. Considered to be 100 m of motor sport, this discipline always impresses, and to believe the many spectators who massage along the course, the vibrations of the cylinders do not tremble only the mountains of Auvergne, but also the hearts of their guardians.

The Lakes Round is organised by passionate members of the Mountain Mountain Mountain Summit (SLVTT). One objective: allow cyclists to discover the lakes, castles and summits of the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Park under the best conditions. Each year, three new courses are offered according to the levels of practice (25 km, 50 km or 75 km) with differences ranging from 500 m to 2 400 m. Think of registering if the adventure is trying!

Oyez oyez brave people, Montferrand is celebrating! In the maze of the old streets of the city and at the foot of the ramparts, the Middle Ages are back. Shows, storytelling, juggling and acrobatics, skits and jousts, parades, demonstrations of ancestral know-how, tastings and opulent banquets follow one another without a moment's pause. Orchestrated since their creation in 1995 by the association " Il était une fois Montferrand", its members prepare decorations and costumes the rest of the year. Craftsmen and acrobats share their love for the medieval period.

A Village of the Book is a place where one cares more about making books, reading and writing very present; a place where one tries to highlight all the actors in the book chain, from the author to the reader by passing, of course, by the printer, bookbinder, publisher… to the bookseller. This is in any case the path chosen by the Book village of Ambierle. Throughout the year, the association organizes numerous events around the book. In April, June and September of the book markets, as well as monthly salons, literary cafés and other meetings, from authors, authors and artists in residence, debates and conferences, bd, workshops of all kinds: reliure, foil, calligraphy, stationery manufacturing, and even poetry contests. On-site year-round: Flower de Sapience, Letters and Pallets, La Bouquinerie and La Bartavelle.

The festival "Culture dans tous les sens" is supported by the Clermont-Ferrand association Lee Voirien. This event aims to promote the artistic and cultural production of disabled and non-disabled people in Auvergne. Thus, it favors the mix of the public by considering them as actors, as artists, bringing their creativity, their universe. Music, theater, storytelling, exhibitions, short films, escape games, blindfolded snacks, and many other highlights are on the program of this cultural event.

Sports, festive and fun, these races are aimed at northern, beginner or experienced practitioners. Festive and convivial night skiing competitions that also allow champions to complete their physical preparation. a unique atmosphere in the seven stage stations of the 2012 edition, including Savoie Grand Revard. A test at Albertville for commemorating the anniversary of the 1992 Olympic Games.

For this second edition of this race on the snow, in semi-night, you travel 10,7 km with 220 m of difference. The record to beat: 39 minutes and 33 seconds. Departure at 18 pm!

Rendez-vous rock'n roll and rockabilly fans, Good '' Tonight festival celebrates 10 years in 2012. Jack Scott, Sleepy La Beef, Hayden Thompson, Sonny West & Tommy Allsup, Johnny Farina… For the occasion, it spans five days and hosts a dozen artists and singers in the United States, including five pioneers of the 1950 s, as well as about twenty French and European groups. The public, faithful, comes from across the country, but also from Holland, Germany or Italy.
