The 33rd edition of the Festival du Premier Roman de Chambéry takes place from May 14 to 17. It is organized by the association Lectures Plurielles. 10 000 festival-goers meet every year for this event, which has become a must for reading lovers. And the whole city is getting up to speed.... Workshops, round tables, events, aperitifs, concerts, acoustic nap, literary ball and other meetings with authors are just a few of the many opportunities offered in dozens of different places in the city: libraries, media libraries, bookshops, and cafés..., the cultural sites of the Cité des Ducs, but also many partner places, invite you to discover very diverse literary worlds. The more than 300 authors that the festival has been able to reward over the years for their first novel are for some well-known personalities. This is the case with Amélie Nothomb, for example.
