The story of Les Tournels began in 1920, when L. Bologna fell in love with this 110-hectare land which, after several generations of hard work and passion, became the Domaine des Tournels: a vineyard of character where rosé is king. Located in Ramatuelle on the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, the estate overlooks the famous Pampelonne beach. Set between the sea and the hills, its sandy-loam and schist terroir is a rich combination that produces elegant, fresh and lively wines. An address not to be missed!

"I came here to cultivate the authentic..." wrote Marcel Pagnol. A perfect slogan! The 149-hectare estate, including 32 hectares of vines, 17 of olive groves and 100 of Mediterranean forest, is located in the Maures plain, on a site protected for its exceptional flora and fauna. A ^15th-century sheepfold has been converted into a winery, which is now the sales cellar. The estate has been producing certified organic wines since 2015 in AOP Côtes de Provence and Côtes de Provence Notre-Dame des Anges, following in the footsteps of its certified organic olive oils from the outset.

Located ten minutes from Aix, this 14 ha vineyard, overlooked by the Sainte-Victoire, benefits from a panoramic and magical view, a south-facing exposure, a calcareous scree soil and a microclimate: a subtle combination that makes it a unique terroir and gives an exceptional wine. Small in size, but big in quality.The estate, which is stamped organic, has been run by the Spitzglous family since 1920. Stéphane Spitzglous, representing the third generation, was born on the estate. Raised by his grandfather, he accompanied him on the tractor for whole days. In 1996, Henri Bonnaud finally agreed to let him take over. But Stéphane has other ambitions: to make his own wine and build a "château". It is in 2004 that he vinifies his first vintage. In memory of his grandfather, who died in 2001, he decided to name it Château Henri Bonnaud.

A majestic promenade of palm trees leads you to the castle park, a former property of the Provencal nobility of the th century, surrounded by several hundred years of cedars. The great characteristic of this 25 hectare vineyard, entirely vendangés by hand, is its opening on the sea. The estate offers 2 vintages "Château des Anglades" and "Private collection" in white, red and rosé, regularly awarded.

This family business, now run by Hélène Dragon and her husband Frédéric Arnaud, has been certified High Environmental Value (HVE) since 2019. It produces 4 AOP Côtes-de-Provence, Côtes-de-Provence-Sainte-Victoire and IGP Var vintages on about 20 hectares. On plots outside the PDO, varieties atypical for Provence have been planted; vinified as single-variety wines, they express their originality in vin de Pays du Var cuvées. The estate also offers its olive oil and regional products for sale at the winery.

A sincere wine activist, adept at gentle winemaking and resolutely against traumatic methods, Marcel Richaud makes his wines with as much talent as passion. Wines of pleasure worked with the greatest respect. The estate's flagship cuvée remains L'Ebrescade, named after a high hillside. This wine, at once elegant, powerful, silky, with aromas of ripe fruit, pepper and spices, has great ageing potential. Other vintages are available, including one, in a nod to his other passion, the delta plane: the Terre d'Aigles.

Located in Correns, the^first organic village in France, the Latz family estate covers 32 hectares of vines with an average age of 17 years. Certified Ecocert since 1995, the organic wines respect the environmental biodiversity. The estate is composed of several types of soil, a complexity that allows us to offer three vintages in the three colors, Licorne in Côtes de Provence PDO, Les Trois Frères in Côtes de Provence PDO and A Lisa in Vin de Pays du Var PGI. A cuvée "Si, fines bulles rosé" is also vinified in traditional method.

12 km north of Aix-en-Provence, on the road to Luberon, the Château du Seuil, built in the 13th and 17th centuries, is one of the most beautiful architectural achievements in this region. With a surface area of about 50 hectares and entirely located in the AOP Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence area, the Château du Seuil's vineyard spreads over the southern slopes of Trevaresse between 350 and 450 m in altitude. It thus benefits from a lot of sunshine and the Mistral that promotes the good health of the vines. All the wines of the estate are available for tasting and commented by a team of professionals every day of the week in a unique and welcoming setting.

This pretty little wine-growing estate in Lorraine worked with the family produces quality Provence wines in rosé, white and red to discover in the cellar.

The vineyard of the Château de la Bégude extends at the foot of Sainte-Victoire, a few kilometres east of Aix-en-Provence, on sunny slopes. The old remains of the Templar, then the post office under Louis XIV, the Château de la Bégude enjoys a micro climate and a very privileged land.

The estate was purchased in 1896 by Marius Rey, the great grandfather of the current owner Jacques Lefebvre, who decided in 1975 to rehabilitate the vineyard. Guardian of the tradition of custodial wines, Jacques Lefebvre concentrated his efforts on producing a fine wine with subtle aromas. Very attached to the vines and the old stones of this area in which he grew up, his son, Didier, now intends to ensure the continuity of family know-how, while further developing the wine-growing processes specific to organic farming. The wines of the Bégude castle obtained biological certification in 2013. With passion, the Lefebvre family surrounds the care of old Provençal varieties. Red wines come from exclusively manual harvesting and are unique to be vinified in whole bunches in old oak cuvons. They are well handled, long guard and are naturally aged in old barrels of merrain oak. White whites are also fermented in oak barrels and then kept for some time in the same barrels until they are bottled. The rosés come from fresh harvest where grapes are égrappés, entrepreneurs and fermented at low temperatures.

An independent, warm and passionate winegrower, Didier Charavin - son and grandson of a winegrower - makes seductive, reasonably priced wines, combining melted tannins, colour and substance, where spices, pepper and redcurrant dominate. 50 hectares of vines spread over Rasteau deliver vintages often selected by the best guides. The Côtes de Provence PDO estate, owned by Édouard and Denise Castellino, is cultivated in reasoned agriculture. Stretching over 27 hectares along the Esclans valley, it combines tradition and modernity. The entire production is vinified in a thermoregulated stainless steel vat room. Le production is available in 7 vintages, 3 in rosé, 2 in white and 2 in red. The estate also offers a range of sparkling "Bulles de Rainette", raw and semi-dry, as well as a grape juice "R de nature" in rosé and white 100% pure fruit juice, made exclusively with the grapes of the estate. Since 2003, Thierry Giroud, oenologist and his wife Caroline, chemist, have been exploiting 15 hectares of vines, 8 of them in PDO Côtes de Provence and 7 in PGI. They work well on each plot, to optimize the quality of their wines, available in red and rosé for the PDO Côtes de Provence, and in the three colours for the IGP wine of Pays du Var.

This classified cru of Côtes de Provence, extending its vineyard to the Mediterranean and the islands of Gold, is the property of Bassim Rahal, a large Lebanese winery. The area covers an area of 46 hectares, so 38 hectares planted in vineyards AOC Côtes-de-Provence, which produce elegant whites to the mineral final, greedy rosé rosé, fruity and fragrant and very expressive reds like "Mauv'Art".

Set in an imposing 18th-century manor house surrounded by vineyards, Domaine de Fontenille is a 4-star luxury hotel in Lauris, 7 km from the town of Lourmarin and 14 km from the Romanesque abbey of Silvacane. Formerly Domaine des Clans, it is one of the oldest vineyards in Provence. For 4 generations, the know-how has been passed on to the Pélépol family, on this 35 hectare estate in the Côtes-de-Provence PDO and vins de Pays du Var, located between Carcès and Thoronet Abbey. It has the particularity to propose a cuvée in the name of the comedian Laurent Gerra in his honour, for having appreciated, during a visit to Carcès, a fruity, elegant and complex rosé, made from syrah, grenache, cinsault and cabernet sauvignon.

Château Sainte-Croix also offers 3 guest rooms at the estate, including 2 very spacious and, new, a restaurant whose opening is planned for April-May.

The history of the Barbero Just family, owners of the estate, goes back to the aftermath of the Second World War. Years go by and generations follow one another, today the 4th. We had to wait until 2007 to see Jan-Michel Just start the creation of a modern cellar and 2008 for the elaboration of a first wine, whereas previously the grapes were brought to the cooperative. Since 2013, all the production is now vinified at the only estate in the village. Whether in AOP Côte de Provence or IGP Var, their rosés are regularly distinguished and awarded medals, as are this year's 2019 vintages.

The vineyard, which dates back to the 40 th century, covers hectares, with a wide variety of grape varieties, Grenache, cinsault, syrah, Cabernet, carignan, mourvèdre, sémillon, tiburen, clairette, Rolle, white ugni and a culture based on the specifications of organic wines. Marc and Sylvie Dubois, on the domaine since 2012, have been joined by their daughter, Caroline. They cultivate their 9-hectare estate between Sainte-Victoire and the Monts Auréliens without exogenous yeast and with respect for the terroir, with stone walls and nesting boxes. You'll find their wines at some of the region's wine merchants and at the cellar, where they offer a warm welcome. Try the Croix du Sud, made from Grenache and Syrah grapes, in red or rosé, and the Vol de nuit, a white with citrus aromas perfect as an aperitif or with fresh goat's cheese.

Here, organic farming is a way of life anchored in the family culture. According to their "Nature et progrès" specifications, the vines and olive trees do not receive any chemical treatment, insecticide or herbicide, and this since 1975! A semi green manure and a compost of sheep manure constitute the soil amendment where copper and sulphur protect the vegetation. It's hard to imagine anything healthier. On the spot, you can walk between vineyards and olive trees thanks to a signposted route starting from the mas. Very bucolic...

Along with Château de Selle (Taradeau) and Château Romassan (Le Castellet), Clos Mireille is one of the three properties that make up Domaines Ott*. Acquired in 1936 by Marcel Ott, Clos Mireille benefits from an exceptional geographical location facing the Mediterranean Sea, which is conducive to the production of subtle and unique wines. The white wine, with its blend of Semillon and Rolle, rivals the best national wines, while the rosé remains an international reference.

Château Rousset is one of the most prestigious vineyards in Pierrevert. Since 1820, the same family has passed on the taste of the vine and the olive tree. Today, Thomas Emery produces red wines composed of 85% Syrah, 10% Grenache and 5% Manosquin, fresh rosé wines harvested at night, as well as white wines, made from Vermentino, Grenache Blanc, Roussanne and Viognier grapes, remarkable for their citrus notes. The entire vineyard is certified organic. The oil of Château Rousset is particularly fruity and green.

Patricia Ortelli completely rebuilt the vineyard in 1991, located on land with balanced limestone textures, and stretching out on sunny terraces. The grape varieties correspond to the PDO Coteaux-varois : rolle, white grenache and clairette for the whites, syrah, grenache and cabernet sauvignon for the reds. The vineyard is certified organic (EcoCert). The vinification is carried out according to the most modern methods. A feminine, regular know-how that is highly appreciated.

Gabriel Meffre is a leading regional producer and marketer of fine wines from the Rhône Valley and Provence. Gabriel Meffre is also the owner of Domaine de Longue Toque in Gigondas (and manages Château Grand Escalion in Costières de Nîmes). The Domaine has been certified since 2020, and the wines are available in all 3 colors. Tasting workshops are scheduled throughout the year on a variety of themes. The estate owes its name to the three brothers who settled here in the early ^18th century: Paul, Laurent and Pierre-Alexandre Baraton. Since 2011, the Bessudo family has restored Domaine de La Baratonne's strong identity, in particular through the production of outstanding IGP Vin de Pays du Var wines. 7 grape varieties are grown organically on 10.5 hectares. Winegrowers from father to son for 300 years, Frédéric and François Alary took over the 25-hectare estate in 1984. The estate is certified in organic agriculture. The harvest is manual. Favouring quality over excessive yield, they wish to keep old vines whose stocks are between 50 and 100 years old and still use old grape varieties such as Counoise, Vaccarèse or Muscardin. In the cellar, you will find a wide choice of vintages.

In 2011, Xavier and Odile Thieblin took over the vineyards of Château Paradis, 80 hectares on Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence, a vineyard created 40 years ago. Ideally located in the heart of green Provence, and benefiting from a Mediterranean micro-climate from the "interior", this 37 hectare sunny vineyard, historically worked in the greatest respect for the environment, definitively freed itself from all chemical products in 2013, when Claire Sicamois, the owner, obtained her AB (organic farming) certification. Short pruning and green harvesting in order to distribute a better quality grape on the vine. Grenache, cinsault, carignan, cabernet-sauvignon, syrah, alicante, rolle and ugni blanc are hand-picked and rigorously selected to guarantee excellent quality nectars in all three colours. Try La cuvée de Claire in PDO Coteaux-varois-en-Provence white, La Cuvée des Tamaris PDO Coteaux-varois-en-Provence rosé, or La Cuvée Amarante in PDO Coteaux-varois-en-Provence red, aged in oak casks. The Bunan estate produces the Moulin des Costes, Château la Rouviere, Mas de la Rouviere, Domaine Bunan, A.O.P Bandol, the Cuvée Bélouve in P.D.O. Côtes de Provence and the Wine of Pierre, on lands converted to organic agriculture. Facing the Levant Islands, Port Cros, and Porquerolles, this th century castle has always been a breeding ground for vine and olive cultivation. At the time, its occupants, the Chartreux of the Verne, already cultivated them. And the merchant boats coming from the salt pumps in Hyères used their passage to load olive barrels and olive pots from their ships. The Rose family, which has been in the field for 17 years, has been returning to history and perpetuated the work of the nuns by replanting more than 50 hectares of vines and 10 hectares of olive trees (3 000 trees). The oil produced from the varieties cayon, bouteillan, aglandau, picholine and grossanne, is classified AOC Provence. In 2015 she won the gold medal at the PACA Regional Oil Competition.

The know-how of the Vial family has been passed on for five generations. Here, the organic culture is king, which allows to emphasize the natural qualities of a soil of character, where the grapes are vinified with the greatest care. On a 300-hectare estate, the 78-hectare vineyard in AOP Coteaux Varois in Provence produces excellent red wines, the Tradition, Carignan and Batilde Philomène vintages, but also white and rosé wines, as well as an I.G.P. Var, in all three colors.

The estate is situated in a natural circus on the hills; the place is picturesque with a view of the Beaumes mountains. Entered into the Leydier family in 1967, this seigniory dates back to 1050 . It is known for its rich and elegant Muscat. The harvest is carried out by hand. They produce a very fruity Chardonnay/Viognier local white wine. One finds there the typicality of the grape variety with its apricot perfume; or a special cuvée 100% Viognier. Their cru Gigondas and cru Beaumes-de-Venise vieilles vignes are recommended for game meals.

Situated at an altitude of 400 m, at the foot of the Sainte-Victoire mountain, this property extends over more than 200 hectares, including 55 hectares of vineyards. In a respect of the terroir and soils, the vineyard is run in Organic Agriculture. The château produces excellent rosés, but specialises in long ageing red wines based on Cabernet Sauvignon. Syrah and Grenache also contribute to the complexity of the blends. The underground cellars of Château Vignelaure contain a fascinating collection of modern art.
