Every year since 1979, in November in Nantes, the Festival des 3 Continents offers fiction films and documentaries from Africa, Latin America and Asia. This international film festival, in addition to its geographical particularity, is also distinguished by its passion and curiosity, its taste for discovery and encounters, and overall its love of films from the South and its desire to share them. Founded by the Jalladeau brothers, this event brings together film professionals from all over the world and the informed or amateur public around competitions, previews, short and feature films, retrospectives... The musical encounters proposed during this festival will bring together for a series of concerts young artists from the Juilliard School of New York, singers from the Jardin des Voix and instrumentalists from Les Arts Florissants in an idyllic setting conducive to creation. Harpsichordist, conductor of international renown, musicologist and teacher, William Christie, and his associate director Paul Agnew offer an original and original journey through a remarkable garden.

Hellfest is THE meeting place for metal, hardcore and punk music in France, with a reputation that extends far beyond the borders of France. At the end of June each year, the festival welcomes more and more people from England, Germany and elsewhere. For this fourteenth edition, the poster is appealing to fans and lovers of the genre, with groups such as Manowar, Anthrax, Gojira, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Slash, ZZ Top, Mass Hysteria, The Sisters of Mercy or King of Diamond, Ultra Vomit and Slayer to name but a few of the 150 groups programmed during the 3 days of this now emblematic festival and having contributed to developing the image of the town of Clisson, the region and more globally of the department. The name of the festival was chosen in reference to another festival of the same style created in the United States. With more than fifty thousand festival-goers each year and the presence of internationally renowned cult groups, Hellfest has established itself as one of the main European music festivals and one of the main cultural events in France.

This nice festival, which takes place every two years (years), offers numerous events around the Loire, in Varades, La Chapelle-Basse-Mer, Nantes, Couëron, Cordemais, Paimboeuf. This year, the festival is replaced by ESTUAIRE, with animations from June 6 th to August 23rd.

In July, this festival brings together harmonies and communal music from 8 to 10 communes of Loire-Atlantique and Vendée.

Created in 2005 at the instigation of the French Ministry of Culture and Communication, this event is an opportunity to discover the museums of Mance and Sarthe in a whole new way. This exceptional opening is scheduled for spring, from 7pm to midnight. Lecturers at the city's various museums will be offering guided tours and fun activities, covering both temporary exhibitions and the permanent collections.
