From his journey in the middle of the show, Cyril offers a unique concept on the vendéenne coast with his restaurant-cabaret L'Intermission, created in 2012. A film lover, he decorated his restaurant on the theme of cinema in the s/s: red carpets, projectors, black and white photos of American actors, large red curtains to dress the glass walls of the building to the design of cubes that illuminate in the evening, and at the bottom of the room, a small scene that welcomes the artists. So every 15 days, dinners are organized around cabaret numbers with french, for example, magic, tap, Gypsy jazz, New Orleans, or some of the one show of comics. The price of the dinner more show is 42 € or 45 € the evening, which is not expensive at all. On the restoration side, the kitchen, in a brasserie style, is simple, with its flagship products: Beef tartare, burger, andouillette mustard to old…

The Hippodrome de l'Atlantique is located in the town of Saint-Jean-de-Monts, in the Vendée region. It faces the Atlantic Ocean, in the dunes of the Pays-de-Monts forest. Horse racing takes place mainly in August each year. The racecourse's grass track is considered one of the best in the Grand Ouest region, thanks to its quality and flexibility. Numerous improvements have been made to enhance public facilities, including a cross-country course, a technical tower, grandstands and boxes, as well as an automatic watering system. The site also boasts a restaurant open from 12 noon on race days. Races take place at night from 4pm, with special entertainment for each day.

A bar well known by the Angevins who crowd in all seasons, inside as well as on the terrace, even by bad weather! It is necessary to say that the resolutely rock music agrees with wonder with the many artisanal beers served in these places (of which the "wooden leg" with 8°), and which one can find in the other establishment held by the owner: the store of beers Crafts Beer Shop street St Laud. On the walls, nothing but wood giving the appearance of stones or bricks. The Donald's pub also offers blind tests, aperitif concerts and DJs - Red Pants and Black suits! - who regularly come to set the mood.

A unique place that we love! In the middle of the marshes, an old oyster hut transformed into an oyster bar and nautical base. Both a bar with a small restaurant service (oysters, tapas...), here you can also book canoes, stand-up paddles or fishing on board. You can walk on the Vertonne and Auzance rivers in the heart of the marshes or head for the ocean. We love the sofas with their colourful cushions, made from wooden pallets. Karoline is the happy manager of this atypical café-boutique a few hundred meters from Pirmil. Here you can slump into the leather sofas to enjoy a delicious grape juice, leaving the children around the coloring table. You can also visit the store to find a painting for your home decoration, a piece of clothing, a designer jewel, but also vinyl CDs, for nice gift ideas. You can also sit down together around the long wooden table to play a game of board games while listening to good music. At lunchtime, the restaurant serves salads and gratins or the dish of the day, just like at home. At aperitif time, the beer and wine bar invites you to discover the local circuits with beautiful local references. You can also find the great Ti' bio rums and other nice drinks and snack breaks. Chipie has set up vegetable and fruit baskets that can be picked up on site (Friday afternoon and Saturday morning). You can also find here raw milk, eggs, yoghurt, fresh or matured cheeses, tea, coffee, chocolate, honey... The producers are all within 25 km! This is THE place for beautiful initiatives! From time to time, the terrace hosts concerts. Beautiful moments of sharing are to be expected in this new place of life. At Peste et Chipie, we let ourselves live.

We can never thank Vincent Salvat, the former owner of T'es Rock Coco, enough for having had the idea to open in 2015 this magnificent guinguette which was cruelly missing on the banks of the Maine! From April to September, this large bar all in wood and its beautiful terrace offer not only a magnificent view of the left bank of the city but also everything you can dream of in the beautiful days in such a place: a restaurant part at lunchtime (new since summer 2017), based on fresh and local products, snacking in the evening (tapas, homemade fries, plates of cold cuts or cheese...), there is also a vegetarian formula. The most, the numerous events going from concerts, to electro parties and even dances! There is something for all tastes and all ages. This establishment has become a must in Angers as soon as the first rays of sunshine arrive. If you are looking for a heterogeneous place where the atmosphere is bucolic, you are at the right place. Note that on the bar side, each glass is consigned, in order to make everyone responsible. By the way, what do we drink at the Heron? Fruit juices, sodas, but also excellent organic and (or) local wines as well as Belgian, Breton, German beers... Finally, on Sundays, what could be better for the party-goers of the day before than a brunch formula until 3pm!

The 2022/2023 season brought change to the ONPL, as it welcomed Sascha Goetzel as Music Director for the next 4 seasons. In 2023, he embarks on his second year with an attractive program and a new Europe Music Edition. A season of 32 programs. The ONPL choir will be in the spotlight, performing requiems by Mozart and Verdi. The choir will also be on hand for Heritage Days. There's also the opening concert with Franco-Serbian violinist Nemanja Radulovic, the Romantics with pianist Marie-Ange Nguci, Mozart's Requiem revisited by Pierre-Henri Dutron... and so much more to discover! Not forgetting film-concerts and family concerts(La cuisine de la cheffe, Le Tour du Monde en 80 jours, etc.). During the lunch break, you can also take advantage of our fantastic Pauses-concert series, featuring 45 minutes of music performed by a small group of musicians. Everyone will be able to vibrate to the sound of the music told by this talented orchestra, whose main mission is to create emotions. The promise of great moments in the company of the ONPL!

Laurent and Jade have teamed up to open this new wine bar, very clean, with a slightly industrial style, with its large exposed pipes, concrete wall and raw wood cuts. The slate wall gives the place a more authentic character, especially since coins are cleverly stuck there (apparently, a tradition on the banks of the Loire: a falling piece is an alert because the ground is too loose). Speaking of floors, take a look in the middle of the room: a transparent slab allows you to see the cellar. And there are bottles, from all over the world, except for rosé, which is often the unloved wine bar! Our two bosses are fine connoisseurs, do not hesitate, therefore, to let themselves be advised, they master grape varieties and appellations at their fingertips.

The café-concert Le Tempo is well known to Guémené residents. Since 2021, Nico and Émilie have been the happy owners. Part games bar, part concert venue, part meeting place, this bar is an authentic living space with a gentle family atmosphere. Upstairs is a veritable Ali Baba's cave, where any board game enthusiast will find something to his or her liking! It's also a coworking space. Saturday evenings are devoted to concerts at reasonable prices. Tempo is the place to be in this small village.

Le Bidule is "The place to be in Pornichet"! Located in the street of bars and restaurants, the place is known well beyond the borders of the department. The Bidule combines a cellar and a bar impossible to circumvent. The atmosphere is ultra-convivial and animated. You can enjoy your glass of Banyuls and Muscat in a Pyrex glass standing in front of the barrels. This bar opened in 1947, and all generations still meet there. The place is particularly crowded on weekends. And an original idea to bring back to a meal with friends: consider buying a bottle at the bar!

One of France's finest arthouse cinemas! With 7 screens housed in two buildings facing each other on both sides of rue Jeanne-Moreau, the cinema's programming is extremely rich. We don't rely on blockbusters to fill up our audiences. Foreign films are shown in subtitled V.O., and previews with actors and filmmakers are numerous, as are retrospectives and thematic cycles ("Cult Plans", Spanish, Italian, German, English-language film weeks...).

This essential place of the Angevin cultural heritage celebrated in 2021 its 150 years. An Italian-style theater, topped by a dome painted by Jules-Eugène Lenepveu, with a vast auditorium seating 728. One comes here to attend classical music concerts but also classical and modern opera. There are also readings, one-man and one-woman shows, as well as comic and dramatic plays. Finally, note that exhibitions are also organized all year round on the first floor.

L'Équipage is a lively place to be right from the morning, at the foot of the beach. We love it for its warm welcome and top-notch service, its terrace overlooking the ocean, and its low prices! The bar is bright and warm, and the menu is excellent: wines by the glass, several draught beers, but the speciality remains rum, with a wide range of ti-punches and cocktails. Accompanying the menu are home-made accras and samoussas, and tapas (home-made rillettes and terrines, cheeses...). After the beach, an ice cream or crêpe break. A sports fan, David offers sports broadcasts on the big screen.

The Joker's Pub is (we take a deep breath): a formidable panel of rock stars on the wall, cocktails and shooters in the spirit of the place (the Mano Negra, the Nirvana...), a large selection of beers often renewed, a nice choice of wines, a nice boss and waiters, a coveted terrace, a joyful and heterogeneous clientele, a back room hosting the best of rock, punk, hip-hop, folk, electro, but also short films or improvisation theater, without forgetting the broadcasting of matches on a giant screen... It's pulsating!

Overlooking the Marais Girard beach, La Paillote d'Eliott is both a bar offering food and a grocery store selling local produce. We like the original design of the terrace, made from wooden pallets and decorated with lanterns. Here, just off the beach, you can share an aperitif with friends over tapas, sardines, cheese platters and fish rillettes (available from the grocery store), with a cocktail. The menu also includes pasta salad, burgers and fish and chips. A great place to go at any time of day!

On the first floor of the restaurant Les Caudalies, we discover this pretty place: Le Décalé. Both a tapas bar and a wine bar, this place, with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, is dedicated to beautiful bottles and beautiful boards to share with friends or colleagues,... You come here for afterwork evenings, cocktail dinners, wine tasting. This wine bar offers an à la carte menu of about forty wines by the glass and by the bottle from different regions of France and foreign countries. But also boards of cold meats and cheese, sandwiches, salads of the moment ... Seasonal nibbles are made from products selected by the chef. You will be delighted with the boards with evocative and well-smelling names: Oh la cochonne! (assortment of cold meats), Ah la vache ! (cheeses), Tapas bien! (tapas)... And we savour the sandwiches served on salad: Y'a pas de bê... (roast goat's cheese, tomato confit, dried duck breast), Are you hot Momo ? (brie de Meaux roasted with honey, Nantes bacon), We smoked Nemo ! (fresh country cheese with herbs, home-made gravelly salmon)... To discover!
