Want to eat in a castle? It is possible, on the doorstep of Angers, between countryside and city… the Château de la Perrière has several locations for lunch outside, sheltered from its walls of the seventeenth century. A small room, the Salon de Guise, also allows to appreciate the seniority of the places, with its old painted beams. On the kitchen side, several menus are offered: Mrs. de Sévigné has the best choice of ingredients (langoustine, foie gras) in prepared dishes, such as the poached bar, broth broth and safranate potato. The Perrière menu offers marinated salmon in gravlax, entry, then a roasted cum filet and Cointreau sauce. The midday formula is simple: in the entrance, a poached melon (just ripe), a beef cheek at the gratin dauphinois and a strawberry garlic with a lemon tile and chantilly, a more sought-after dessert than previous dishes. Weakness: some days we are dealing only with beginner servers who must constantly check the information in the kitchen.

The decoration is a part of the dépaysement. The manager welcomes you with a great smile. If the flavours of the Orient are there and the fast service, however, there is a lack of refinement in the cuisine kitchen, such as nems or chop suey beef

This establishment offers a very pleasant country setting and invites you to eat quietly in a soothing setting. Located in the heart of the rue des Minimes, you are at the foot of the shops. Perfect to satisfy your hunger during your shopping days. You can start by having your breakfast served until 11:30 am unless you prefer to wait and choose from about 20 sandwiches or hot dishes, and finish with a very good pastry, pies or cakes. If you are afraid of air-conditioning prefer the back room less exposed. Please note: a changing table is available in the toilets as well as chairs for children in the room.

We like the wide choice of pizza à la carte, the smiling welcome and the conviviality of the interior room, efficient, functional and nicely decorated. The terrace is not to be outdone, sheltered under a patio, from which you can watch your car in its parking lot! The water brought comes out of the fridge, it's very appreciable. The pizzas are baked over a wood fire. Several boards at 17 € are also available, such as the "océane", "raclette" or "poultry" assortments.
