For many Laval residents, it is an opportunity to take a trip around the plate, which does not involve sushi, couscous or tapas... but northern dishes. Maroilles toast, for example. Or the tasty chicken breast with maroilles cream and the excellent welsh of the ch'tis, a dish made up of a slice of mustard bread, white ham and cheddar cheese, all melted in beer and baked in the oven. Hmmm.... There is also carbonade, a kind of sweet and sour beef. It should be noted that each of these specialities is accompanied by particularly tasty homemade fries.
