Creperie offering the inevitable butter pancake or nice salads and grills.
A short distance from the Loire, a gourmet and friendly stopover awaits you in Philippe's new creperie: Galettes et Papilles! This former railwayman made his dream come true by becoming a crepe maker and now takes his taste buds on a trip to a real small museum dedicated to railway souvenirs. A nod also to Petit Anjou, a former railway line closed in 1948 that passed through the town.... (see the old Embreil station, for the curious). Here, the owner works exclusively with local producers and market gardeners. We have the real buckwheat pancakes and Breton wheat pancakes. In addition to the essential complete or butter cake, choose Annette's cake: buckwheat, apple cider jelly. Also try the speciality Galettes et Papilles filled with goat cheese, sesame seeds, arugula, cucumber ice cream or, of course, the Curé's maid to the priest of Nantes. As for sweets: we recommend Crêpe et Papilles with homemade lemon cream, meringue, homemade whipped cream chocolate. Flambéed pancakes are also part of the trip. Formulas for the smallest gourmands, but also beautiful salads and grills. On sunny days, the service is continuous on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Ideally located on the Loire by bike: gourmands will come here... by train!
