A local Normandy shop that smells of apples, Camembert and teurgoule... A nice little store with a warm welcome and great local products! Ideally located at the start of the busy Rue Saint-Pierre, whether you're just passing through or a full-time resident, you won't want to miss out. Inside, you'll find an anthology of products made in Normandy: cookies, honeys, tripe, rillettes, all washed down with cider, perry, pommeau, wine, whisky (from Breuil-en-Auge), beer and the traditional Calvados. Founded in 1981, Maison Asselot is the most famous ambassador of the genuine andouille de Vire, regularly awarded laurels of excellence in regional and national competitions. The best andouille from Vire, or almost! Handmade from pork belly, smoked in traditional beechwood fireplaces for three weeks, then simmered in a broth, Vire andouille can be enjoyed hot or cold, as an aperitif or at the table. An ancestral know-how, dating back to the ^18th century, to discover on our guided tours.

A wonderful family story that began with Chantal and Dominique, whose farm in Orbec is devoted to dairy production, cereal growing, and cattle breeding. Then comes son Pierre, who has created a free-range poultry farm and, in 2019, opened a pretty boutique dedicated to local produce in an old cider press on the edge of the D579. Here you'll also find the whole family's superb farm produce for direct sale. A counter that works wonders!

Uncompromising goodwill, a genuine passion for regional and farm products, and a smiling welcome - these are the assets of this little gourmet boutique, which is sure to delight you right in the heart of downtown. You'll find a wide selection of ciders, Norman beers, cheeses, fruit and vegetables, cookies, jams, wines and charcuterie. And don't forget the Calvados, two of which have been voted the best Calvados in the world! The whole of Normandy can be tasted here, with no need to worry about short excursions to other regions just as rich in flavours.

A small gourmet souvenir shop that you will find at the end of the High Street, one of the most typical in Honfleur and contrary to what its name indicates, the lowest of the city! Indeed, it owes its name to the fact that it was above the sea that was lapping at the feet of the houses. Now that you're fed up with some historical know-how, it's time to pick up a few "Under Les Les" sweets to fill your basket. This is not the choice that is lacking: biscuits, candies and lollipops, cider from the Farm of the Parquets of Fourneville (which you can visit, it is two steps from here), Calvados, local beers, Isigny's caramels, Calvados mustard, foie gras de duck… There is everything, coming from the whole of Normandy. What one likes is the huge choice of miniature jam pots and their flavours as tasty as multicoloured (poppy, apple-calvados…) and mini soft drink bottles that allow you to imagine all compositions to be offered or enjoyed. Françoise and Jean-François are passionate about their small cave of Ali-Baba who naturally want to share everything from their land. Other originalities, more touristic, like the artisanal aperitifs with charming names "Shed your tour", "The Fisherman's aperitif", "Fly Pee" add a touch of humour to this beautiful, red and green brick house. Apple coloured, in sum!

Graine des Champs is a grocery store and a collective of over 50 producers and artisans from Normandy. Cédric Devienne, who initiated the project, offers for sale the organic products of his partners, all with exemplary traceability, from environmentally friendly production within a 50 km radius. You'll find fruit and vegetables, meats and cheeses, as well as teas and coffees supplied by local roasters. A wellness and homeware section offers a complete range of hygiene and cleaning products. Whether you're a lover of sweet things or not, a visit to Maison Casati, artisan chocolatier, is well worth the detour! You'll love the uncluttered decor of this blue-fronted establishment, whose flagship product is macarons. The delicious, airy macarons are made locally. Add to this a wide range of chocolate and confectionery references, and you have one of the city's top spots for sweet treats. The welcome is warm and friendly, and the advice is just as helpful.

Ali Baba's cave of Norman products. The gourmets will no longer know where to turn. Delicious Madeleines from Caen, caramels, cakes of all kinds, but also small gadgets and gift ideas, everything is there. As you walk along Avenue de la Mer, you won't be able to miss this shop with its elegant red exterior facade. The other side of the coin: the prices, sometimes a little excessive.

When you walk through the shop, the smell of smoke will welcome you, and if it whets your appetite, the shop will satisfy all your desires! Elaboration, salting, smoking and boning: Jambons d'Antan ensures the entire production. Everything is good in the pig and even more, after 6 months of preparation in accordance with Norman traditions! Whether the ham is smoked with or without the bone, sliced, half or quartered, braised or white, accompanied by smoked breasts or ham on the bone, it is excellent.

For ten years, Marie-France and Franck Leroy have been happy to make tourists and residents happy with their fine grocery store on the Seine. Renowned for the quality of its wines, the couple in the sense of hospitality and smile always present, also offers delicious cheeses as well as selection of the best Norman products, to make fun or to make fun! Regional products are proudly exposed, and can be cracked and cramped.

The know-how can also cross departmental boundaries, passing from nearby Calvados to Manche. Thus the Bonne Enfumée, an institution of the town, emblematic and renowned for the quality of its products, has been at the top of the field for over a quarter of a century in the heart of the town. Here, the andouille is smoked in the fireplace, and its slightly peppery, authentic taste is incomparable. Vacuum-packed, it will keep for 2 months. You will also have the possibility of making your purchases on the spot or to have them delivered.

A nice little shop, right next to the Initiative Union, where Corinne welcomes you all smiles. On the one hand, wines and on the other, greedy products. A woman merchant, it's rare enough to deserve to be interested! Her selection is well felt: all regions are represented, mainly with relatively affordable tariffs. On the cheese side, then good! From the local (the main Norman actors are present) and at least local (goat, feta, mozzarella, Roquefort, Cantal…). A nice collection of sausages from Spain and sausage, just next to the Cidricoles products (Clos d'Orval). To complete the table, the pâté, the (original) jams, the gingerbread, the farmers' eggs… are what to fill your basket and even make it profitable for your return. You can even order, Corinne sends you the package by post (in this case, forget the eggs!).

In the heart of the Parc naturel régional des boucles de la Seine normande, Gérard Lenormand is known as the biggest cider producer in the region. On his farm, he sells all the - very good - products derived from apples: pommeau jams, ice cider, cider brandy, Normandy aperitif, vinegar and, of course, calvados. His products have been widely rewarded, notably with a gold medal at the 2015 Paris Agricultural Competition for semi-dry cider. Gérard Lenormand is also present at the Jumièges market.

Luxurious, the boutique flatters eyes like papillae. The keyword here is 'quality' and necessarily, it has a price… Products are sorted based on the components: teas from Kusmi Tea or Dammann Frères, preserved fish from La Belle Iloise, olive oils from Les Baux de Provence, Dolfin and Cluizel chocolates, caviar from Kaspia, products based on algae. In short, the top of the basket of French gastronomy (and elsewhere), fit for fine palates (and well-filled wallets!). A word on the cellar, which we don't see right now but which is immense and worth its weight in bottles. It is a separate world, where all regions of France are represented. It is possible to find pearls, especially in Languedoc wines or to offer a Vosne-Romanée, poised in its piggyback… Added to this is a whisky range and a beautiful Norman selection where vintage calvados occupy a privileged place.

It focuses exclusively on local products, most of them AOC: cider from the Pays d'Auge, pommeau from Normandy, young, vintage or aged calvados, apple juice. Thierry and Michelle, the owners, will also introduce you to ready-made dishes, including rillettes, duck foie gras and Caen-style tripe.
