MAISON COLIN SEGUIN
Read moreIt is since 2010 that Colin Seguin, a breeder-breeder, recognized for his excellent value for money, has its wine tasting cellar in Nights-Saint-Georges. Ideally located at the northern entrance of the city, the cellar contains all the treasures of the House, and a free wine tasting can be enjoyed. All bottles are labeled Colin Seguin, from the most beautiful Villages to the most famous Grands Crus. The house Colin Seguin, born in business activity, evolves towards a domain structure. Some vineyards are already on property, but above all the house buys either grapes, or must, or ready-to-eat parts, ten every year to the sale of the wines of Nuits-Saint-Georges. The winery's wine cellar optimizes the wine cellars and livestock in the cellars and cellars Nuitonnes. The year 2013 was an important year in the evolution of the house Colin Seguin because it started taking this profile of owner-trader-trader to master the process of developing its wines, a evolution to be seen absolutely by the rediscovery of its appellations.

The young stellian has long favoured sustainable agriculture. A shower of stars (gold medals) crown his work, especially for his crémants and yellow wines. Almost thirty in 10 years! This is a fine example of an ambassador for the "Vignobles et Découvertes" label. Straw wines are very delicate. We were amazed by the Crémant du Jura blanc brut, a regular bubble all in finesse, a frank effervescence and a smooth length. He should also hit the target in the biggest confrontations.

And that is the character of the Derey family: pugnacity, research and a visceral attachment to a terroir and its fruit. Being young winemakers is their strength, and it is by respecting the soil of their ancestors that they revisit this dusty, old school Burgundy that they love so much. The moral of the story? Love (of wine) always wins.

The prices it offers are as low as possible. The cellar also has an impressive beer radius with more than 300 references… and strong alcohols are also well represented. The top 50 of the whiskies and its top 20 of the rums are appreciated. Add to all this that it is one of the few wine merchants in Beaune able to host one or more buses. The dynasty began when Claude settled in the village in 1600. Pascal, the current boss, continues the adventure with the same rigour under vaults engraved in 1560! With the Tissot comes at first sight the religiously convoluted "Marc du Jura". No need to travel the world to find international specialities. The burnery produces "Prohibition" labelled Jura whiskies (aged in barrels of macvin, straw wine, yellow wine, or even trousseau...). There is also Jurask'aya vodka, Jura gin d'gin, rum in straw wine casks. As for fruit brandies, they also play on originality: wild sloe, quince... Let us not miss another institution of the house, the ancestral family liqueur Juramelli yellow or green like its Carthusian neighbour.
