Founded in 1825 by Pierre Faiveley, the estate is now run by the seventh generation of the family. Faiveley wines are renowned for their quality and traditional know-how combined with a modern approach. The domaine owns vineyards in the Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise regions, notably at La Framboisière. In addition to producing its own wines, Faiveley is also a négociant, maintaining close relationships with other Burgundy families to gain access to the best plots. Wines distributed under the "Joseph Faiveley" label represent the second generation of the family.

The place is a gem, one of the most famous burgundy producers, our guide was very informative and pleasant, and the facility is more than impressive. We had the grand cru tasting, if you are a wine lover and into some very interesting wine do not miss it

Une jolie cave mais la visite n'est quand même pas à la hauteur du prix payé de 75€/personne. La plupart des caves, pour 12€, font déguster 6 vins, chez Faiveley, ce n'est que 4 et pire, nous avons été très déçus ! Nous ne nous attendions pas à un vin de cette piètre qualité dans une telle maison. Dommage.

For a top tier Burgundy wine producer, differentiates itself by its accessibility, without compromising on quality. Fantastic tour of the facilities, followed by a 5 glass wine tasting, featuring two grand crus. An absolute must if you are in the Cote de Nuits region and looking for something high end.
