DÉJEUNER TYPIQUE AVEC LES BERGERS
Read moreThe local agencies that organize excursions in Barbagia offer a lunch with the shepherds. In the small villages, such as Orgosolo, the shepherd has a special aura. He symbolizes the Sardinian cultural identity and perpetuates a way of life that tends to be singular. The meals are organized in the open air, often in beautiful places. On the menu are cheeses, cold cuts and the famous carasau bread. Fruits and vegetables of season come to supplement these agapes.
BARBAGIA
Read moreThis restaurant features a family cuisine that offers very refined traditional Sardinian dishes. On the menu, mussel soup, culurgiones di potato, maccarones, porcettu or roast lamb... This truly good grandmother's cuisine celebrates the rusticity of the Sardinian repertoire, turned towards the solid products of the land rather than the pelagic resources. In the evening, the restaurant also offers pizzas, but it would be a pity to miss Sardinian specialities. Expect some waiting time, as the address is very popular with the locals.
RISTORANTINO MASILOGHI
Read moreThis pretty restaurant with its milky white walls has a delightful setting with its copper pots and hanging earthenware plates. Despite its name, which might sound like a handkerchief, it has about 60 seats inside and the same number outside. You can taste local specialties(pane frattau, pecorino ravioli, culurgiones, pane carasau, porcettu à la broche...). The chef relies on organic products and zero mileage. The meal is accompanied by nepente d'Oliena or cannonau, the local grape varieties.
SA NASSA
Read moreSince its opening in 2015, Sa Nassa has become one of the best tables in Bosa. In a stone-built setting that gives the impression of dining inside a nuraghe, you can enjoy good local cuisine. The room is brightened up by white tablecloths and lemon-yellow chairs. Whether you like meat or fish and shellfish, you will find what you are looking for. Special mention for the octopus, but alsothe s'azada, a typical Bosa pasta dish based on seafood. Good welcome from Antonio, the warm boss.
LA POLTRONA
Read moreHalfway between the sea and the mountains, this restaurant is located on a roundabout at the exit of the town and faces a beautiful panorama. The shaded terrace will allow you to enjoy the blue of the sea and the green of the hills while tasting simple and good local specialities: homemade pasta, crispy pizzas, fish of the day (squid with honey, grilled tuna), local desserts (sorbet with myrtle). Playground for children, parking. Attentive service. Note its location near the aquarium of Cala Gonone.
LU FANALI

MOVIDA
Read moreOn the ramparts of the old town of Alghero, Movida has its pleasant terrace facing the port. There is a good sea kitchen with a special mention for the seafood spaghetti and the seiche ink, a treat! In dessert, the gourmets can throw their hand on the famous Catalan cream. Welcome and attentive service from the boss. Note that prices are a little more expensive than average.
LA GUARDIOLA
Read moreIn the final stretch for the Castello, if your legs don't carry you anymore and you are hungry, you will find at La Guardiola a professional team to welcome you. This renowned restaurant, with its breathtaking sea view, is one of the first in the city to offer gastronomic cuisine. The chef prepares seafood specialities that give priority to quality over quantity. Many of the dishes include pasta, while others offer fish in four different preparations: marinated, stewed, fried and grilled.
IL BUONGUSTAIO
Read moreThe staff were friendly and helpful. Here you need to taste burrida, unless you choose fregola con arselle or culurgioni.
CALGLIARI AL PORTO

RISTORANTE L’ANFORA
Read moreGood restaurant, pizzeria also. The menu is rather varied.
IL BRIGANTINO GRILL
Read moreIl Brigantino Grill rises from the ground, or rather from the embers, following the success of Brigantino. The concept is a little different, as the specialities are grilled meat and fish cooked over coals. The atmosphere in the dining room and on the terrace is relaxed and warm, as the owner emphasizes. The restaurant is very well located, in a lively district at the heart of Cagliari's "movida". Regulars to the Brigantino will not be disappointed, with the same quality products and, above all, the inimitable welcome and attention of the staff. A great address!
RUBIU
Read moreThis freshly opened brasserie-restaurant, with its modern, industrial decor and view of the gleaming vats, won us over. It serves excellent pizzas, accompanied of course by the house beers brewed on site. The foams are almost organic, unfiltered and additive-free. But the cochonnailles served on a plank (as well as the cheeses) are truly succulent. Rubiu ("red" in Sardinian) is the story of three friends who are natives of the island, and they'll tell you the rest because they're so adorable.
BOMBAS
Read moreThe success of this Sardinian "hamburger shop" has not wavered despite the passing years. Fabrizio Muscas has been able to seduce a demanding clientele with his gourmet hamburgers, which are essentially made of products from Sardinia. Pecorino cheese replaces cheddar cheese, mutton replaces ground beef, country ham replaces bacon... The sandwiches are composed like real architectural works in which seasonal products and homemade sauces are piled up in layers. The kitchen is located in the heart of a high vaulted room made of blonde stone.
RISTORANTE SA PIOLA
Read moreSa Piola is the whole of Sardinia summed up in one restaurant. Giuseppe, the chef, offers a menu that draws cheerfully from the traditional repertoire, of course, but he is especially careful to work with ultra-fresh, seasonal products, offered by his friends who are producers or fishermen. Thus, the bluefin tuna comes in carpaccio, the prawns are served raw, the lorighittas come from Morgongiori. Gabriele accompanies this pleasant cuisine with carefully selected bottles that flirt with the natural trend.
REMI
Read moreIn this gourmet pizzeria, each pizza is the subject of a particular culinary research. The creativity of the young chef Sandro Cubeddu is expressed through the choice of top quality flours and fillings, with an unparalleled freshness. Worked with natural sourdough, we bite into gourmet pizzas with burrata, courgette flowers, raw ham, tuna and anchovies, not to mention shrimp and olives. A real culinary experience, accompanied by selected wines and exquisite homemade beers.
PASTA E PASTA
Read moreLe Futé has found you (we asked the local gastronomes) the best pasta restaurant in Orosei. Pasta & Pasta stands out for the quality of its fresh pasta made every morning and the side dishes, in short, ultra fresh products and as they say in Italy "km zero". A local cuisine very appreciated by the locals, so we advise you to reserve or come early because this restaurant is not very big. The specialty of the house is necessarily the culurgiones but the chef excels in other recipes of course. Nice selection of wines as a bonus.
ACQUARIO
Read moreA few steps from the Fertilia marina, Acquario is a nugget discovered by chance. The restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside, but what a treat when the dishes pass before your eyes! The chef offers local specialties but revisited with his personal touch. Some of the best pasta in the Alghero area! You will find more locals than tourists on the terrace or in the dining room. Well-stocked plates, festival of flavors and very attentive staff. We love this terrace under the arcades on summer evenings and we want to come back.
SA MUSCIARA
Read moreIts Musciara is the best table in the region. It pays tribute to the town's past as a tuna port with a menu dedicated to bluefin tuna in season. The Musciara was the name of the boat of Portoscuso's chief fisherman, who had a window under the keel that allowed him to see the catch live. Fresh products and simplicity form the winning duo of this elegant table that opens onto the sea. The speciality of the house? The spaghetti, the recipe for which can be found on the website. Will you be able to reproduce it identically?
L'ENTREE
Read moreThis is a popular address for locals and it is always busy on summer evenings. On the large square or under the arcades with a view of the sea, you can sit down with your family or friends to enjoy delicious and copious pizzas, without forgetting the beautiful local specialities. William and his team are very attentive. The children can play freely on the square and leave a little respite to the adults. Finally, from the terrace, the sunsets on the Capo Testa are beautiful. A simple and affordable address that we recommend.
AMMENTOS
Read moreDesigned as a typical inn, the Ammentos restaurant takes you to the mountains of Barbagia for a meal. Copper pots and wicker baskets transform the room into a Sardinian farmhouse scullery. The dishes are served on large wooden boards placed on the table, ready to be shared. They are garnished with grilled vegetables, the best cured meats and delicious cheeses, fregola and ravioli, roast suckling pig and grilled sausages. To finish the meal, a glass of muscatel wine is brought along with small biscuits.
