Located in Fulford, Quebec, Domaine Les Brome/Léon Courville is a winery well worth a visit. Founded in 1999 by Léon Courville, a former teacher and banker, the vineyard now boasts over 100,000 vines spread over almost 40 acres. In summer 2025, Exploramer will inaugurate the St. Lawrence Shark Pavilion.

Pointe-de-l'Ouest is located one kilometre south of Baie-Sainte-Claire. It is home to the island's first lighthouse, which was built in 1858 (although the new structure dates from 1967), and its light extends for 50 km around. Despite a series of lighthouses built in the 19th century, shipwrecks remained numerous. Since the 18th century, 200 ships have reportedly sunk in the vicinity of the island.
