In a subdued setting, we come here to eat grilled meats prepared with great care, in the open kitchen and left voluntarily in view of the guests. The products are excellent: meat and vegetable specialities cooked to perfection. The atmosphere, good child, will allow you to have a very good time. The setting is worthy of the most beautiful inns. Here, everything is homemade: the bread and even the tasty homemade beer. A very good address for lovers of high quality meat, a limited choice for vegetarians.

Run by two young Slovenians, this tiny restaurant of oriental specialities is a little marvel for falafel lovers. They are found in absolutely every variation. Prices are low and the quality of the products is excellent. You can enjoy your sandwich on one of the few tables inside, or on those outside, as long as it doesn't freeze. Special evenings are also organised to introduce you to some oriental traditions - folk dancing, tasting, etc

This is the place to be in Kranj for the price/quality ratio. There is a choice of six formulas in the morning for a complete breakfast for sweet or savoury palates, and in addition you can even treat yourself to a mimosa with orange juice and prosecco. At lunchtime, there are five possibilities of starter-main course-dessert menus at low prices, including a vegan offer. The service is worthy of a chic restaurant with a very refined and attractive presentation of the dishes. Brioni also serves as an afternoon tea room and offers a wide range of homemade cakes. A great favourite!

This pizzeria, opened in 1996, is quite special: not only do you have a choice of 66 different kinds of pizza and 14 excellent salads, but above all its decoration is remarkable. Its historic interior includes original pillars designed by the most famous Slovenian architect Jože Plečnik, which gives a special standing to the restoration room. In the plate, you will find pizzas baked in a traditional wood oven. Simple raw products but very correct pizzas. Special mention to the generous salads!

Parma is the first pizzeria opened in this part of Europe in 1973. Students in the 1970s remember their youth in this legendary place, which has become almost cult today. The authentic ovens are from this period (repaired, of course), which makes its charm. And the 40 different kinds of pizza have kept a taste of the past: they are thicker, tastier. You will appreciate the quality of the raw products - hams, cheeses but also arugula - which stand out from other pizzerias.

A 5-star culinary experience is offered here by Michelin-awarded chef Blaž Derlink. The four-course menu changes daily and is decided upon in the early hours of the morning in contact with local suppliers. The lamb, typical of the Jezersko region, is often enhanced on the plate and sublimated by the wine advice of Marko, the sommelier of the place. Very elegant dishes, a romantic atmosphere and just the right amount of food to end with a white chocolate yoghurt ganache, elderflower granita and apple sorbet.

It is quite simply Ana Ros' restaurant, proclaimed best cook in the world by the reference magazine Restaurant in 2017. A charming little address that shines with quality Neapolitan pizzas and a modest menu featuring dishes such as homemade beef ravioli with béchamel sauce, or a revisit of vegetarian moussaka with burrata and parmesan. Starters are accompanied by wood-fired sourdough bread in the form of turnovers. Dishes are served in original, colorful crockery. Sweet tooths won't be disappointed by the Basque cheesecake or babka hazelnut cream. Freshness guaranteed!

Without a doubt the best plan for a smart address near Bled where you can eat quality food without breaking the bank or worrying about parking. Two rooms, two atmospheres, a trendy bar with cocktails and Neapolitan pizzas that make you think you're in Italy, and above all an adjacent restaurant offering lunch menus with a visual worthy of a great table with fresh and local products. The chef is inspired by Slovenian traditions and adds a refreshing Japanese touch, so you can't help but take a picture of the talent on the plate before enjoying your meal.

Restaurant of Italian specialities with a very nice high ceiling room with modern decoration and a large terrace facing the Adriatic. Warm service, quality products, delicious preparations. Special mention to the homemade desserts which are true works of art, as beautiful as they are good, there is a real pastry chef in the kitchen! If only for a gourmet break, it is highly recommended to stop by. A great address. We will simply regret not having booked because, in summer, it is quickly full!

Osmica means 8, simply because we are at number 8 on the street. This orange pizzeria has a young and relaxed atmosphere and offers a wide range of pizzas of different sizes. It is ideally located near Prešeren Square in the pedestrian zone. The prices are affordable, the quality and service are satisfactory. Awarded with many prizes, it is the dough that makes the reputation of the place. There is something for everyone: salads, lasagne, desserts... and the new pizza rolls!

The restaurant in the former residence of the famous Marshal Tito. The restaurant, with its magnificent garden terrace, offers international culinary specialties with a French and Mediterranean influence, as well as some Slovenian dishes, prepared by chef Goran Selan. His cuisine is light, sophisticated, modern and succulent (using natural ingredients always adapted to the season). A beautiful white table and subdued lighting provide the perfect setting for a romantic moment.

Just a stone's throw from the castle, this hostel is undoubtedly one of the best in Celje. The restaurant room is a real point of view on the city and the castle. The welcome is the warmest. The map is well provided. The cuisine is traditional but of very good quality. You will enjoy a plate of cold meats accompanied by štrukljis or the Viennese escalope. Generally speaking, beautiful dishes decorated with talent and colourful seasonal vegetables. It is regrettable that the dessert menu is much less sophisticated.

In the same spirit as Vodniko Hram, the Sokol Hostel offers typical Slovenian dishes from all regions. The Truite trout, ham and olives of the Karst or the Gibanica de are found. Soups are often served in bread bowls, game plates are large (deer, deer, boar, polenta, bread boulettes…) and "régales" are truly atypical. Everything is served in a wooden frame where traditional music sounds. A good address for who wants to know the Slovenian gastronomy. However, the facility is very busy and prices are not always cheap.

In the heart of the old town, Hiša (house) Homan is one of the oldest Škofja Loka buildings. She is famous for her mural painting depicting Saint Christopher (of the th century). The house is famous for its bar and terrace in the shade of the trees where it is good to enjoy you. But it also becomes famous for her kitchen. In 2007, the Homan bar became the Homan Homan. The cuisine serves medieval dishes. It's a real culinary journey. You rediscover the medieval way, you taste the meat of chamois in sauce, you yourself the mavžli po bohinjsko (sort of meat-filled potatoes)… the card is if provided that you no longer know where to give your head. A very good address to discover.

Located along the Ljubljanica River, this burger bar has made a splash in the city! The formula is disarmingly simple: American specialties - mainly burgers and ribs - excellently prepared in an open kitchen behind the pretty bar, a simple and neat industrial decor, and a warm pub atmosphere. The friendly chef did his training in the southern United States before starting his business in town. The meat is simply delicious and the selection of craft beers will delight the amateurs.

This small inn is located on the left side of the chairlift and offers a picturesque setting and a terrace with a superb panorama. You can enjoy the dairy specialities of the cowherds(melko kizlo and fresh cheeses) accompanied by delicious local charcuterie. As you may have noticed, this local cuisine gives pride of place to local and mountain specialities such as ričet or Carniolan sausage. There's nothing like it to regain strength after a good hike and leave refreshed for a new escapade!

In the main square, in one of the oldest buildings in the city, you will see the House of Gastronomy and Tourism. This is a training center for students in catering and tourism, consisting of a pastry shop, a restaurant, a store as well as an atrium and a conference room. In the restaurant, you can choose from three daily menus. The pastry shop offers all kinds of cakes, including black forest. The store has authentic products from the neighboring farms.

A renowned address located in the historic centre. In a rather bohemian chic decor, the à la carte dishes follow one another in a maze of the most pleasant smells and flavours. Slovenian cuisine is given pride of place although it does not take up the entire menu. You will love a veal fillet with grilled asparagus and black truffle purée. Special mention to the reception which is particularly pleasant with a staff with small onions and who tells us the story of our dishes and their ingredients with passion.

A rather incredible address: it is no more and no less than the best Japanese restaurant in Slovenia. In addition to the essential sushi - prepared on site in front of you - whose variety and flavour will literally melt on site, it is also worth tasting the soups and beef specialities to fully appreciate the chef's expertise. The atmosphere of the restaurant is friendly and the waiters will be happy to help you in your difficult choice between the dishes on the menu.
