This pizzeria, opened in 1996, is quite special: not only do you have a choice of 66 different kinds of pizza and 14 excellent salads, but above all its decoration is remarkable. Its historic interior includes original pillars designed by the most famous Slovenian architect Jože Plečnik, which gives a special standing to the restoration room. In the plate, you will find pizzas baked in a traditional wood oven. Simple raw products but very correct pizzas. Special mention to the generous salads!

Parma is the first pizzeria opened in this part of Europe in 1973. Students in the 1970s remember their youth in this legendary place, which has become almost cult today. The authentic ovens are from this period (repaired, of course), which makes its charm. And the 40 different kinds of pizza have kept a taste of the past: they are thicker, tastier. You will appreciate the quality of the raw products - hams, cheeses but also arugula - which stand out from other pizzerias.

Restaurant of Italian specialities with a very nice high ceiling room with modern decoration and a large terrace facing the Adriatic. Warm service, quality products, delicious preparations. Special mention to the homemade desserts which are true works of art, as beautiful as they are good, there is a real pastry chef in the kitchen! If only for a gourmet break, it is highly recommended to stop by. A great address. We will simply regret not having booked because, in summer, it is quickly full!

Osmica means 8, simply because we are at number 8 on the street. This orange pizzeria has a young and relaxed atmosphere and offers a wide range of pizzas of different sizes. It is ideally located near Prešeren Square in the pedestrian zone. The prices are affordable, the quality and service are satisfactory. Awarded with many prizes, it is the dough that makes the reputation of the place. There is something for everyone: salads, lasagne, desserts... and the new pizza rolls!

As the name suggests, this is a rustic pizzeria. The pizzas are served on large wooden tables on wide benches. The decor is simple and the pizzas classic. A wide choice of vegetarian pizzas, with nine à la carte options. Burgers and salads are also available. The dining room can accommodate quite a few guests, and the terrace is a pleasant place to soak up the sunshine in summer. The warm atmosphere contrasts with that of Bled's hotels. A friendly, unpretentious little spot.

4 km south-east of Škofja Loka, in the town of Pungert, you can find the best pizzas in the region. The ingredients are of high quality and the dough is very tasty. Italian specialities are in the spotlight: eternal pastas, risottos, minestrones, etc. Culinary offer quite extensive with river fish (depending on arrival), soups with seasonal vegetables, burgers with extra tender pieces of beef. You'll understand, it's impossible not to enjoy yourself! All this for very low prices.

A craving for Italy in the middle of a Slovenian road trip? Bingo, Špica makes the best Neapolitan pizzas, a light dough with fresh basil, PDO mozzarella, Lisjak olive oil and even truffle cream. There are also other specialities such as the succulent beef tagliata or a nice plate of ribs and French fries. With this? An incredible selection of beers. The owner is none other than Jani Klemenčič, a retired Slovenian Olympic rowing champion, which explains the many deco references inside.

From the twentieth floor of the InterContinental Hotel, which opened in 2017, the view of Ljubljana is breathtaking. And in restaurant B, which overlooks the capital, the dishes are no less surprising. Prepared by the new local chef Komnen Bakić under the supervision of the famous Alfredo Russo, the new map is intended to be emblematic of Slovenia's plural influences: Italian, Austrian and Yugoslavian. This gastronomic inspiration can be found in gourmet and more Balkan dishes such as grilled red mullet with corn and seasonal mushrooms.

Italian restaurant in the heart of Ljubljana run by Italians. Stefano Rado, one of the owners, after falling in love with the capital during a visit, decided to open his third restaurant here and work there. Thus, with his thirty years of experience, he passes on his knowledge to his pizzaioli and chefs to prepare delicious Italian pizzas, gourmet and rigorously al dente pasta and tasty and colourful salads. The desserts are wonderful too. Many gluten-free solutions. Vegetarians and vegans are welcome.

The atmosphere is so cozy, with the fireplace and lounge furniture, you feel as if you've been invited into a friend's home. The menu features gourmet Neapolitan pizzas and modernized Slovenian cuisine, with a range of daily specials at low lunchtime prices. The summer terrace is also very pleasant. Generous portions, carefully presented and friendly service. Probably the best value for money in town.
