Four springs feed the thermal complex. The water reaches 72°C when it gushes out of the depths between 1,175 m and 1,467 m. It is then cooled from 36 °C to 38 °C. This hyperthermal fossil water is recommended in cases of degenerative rheumatism, chronic articular disease and in conditions following injuries and operations on the locomotor system. In its original state, it has a cloudy appearance, smells of oil and has a salty taste.

For over 10 years, in the northern part of the Sečovlje nature park, a thalassotherapy center has been welcoming visitors wishing to take advantage of the benefits and virtues of sea salt. In the midst of the salt flats, several types of treatment are offered, from mud wraps to saltwater baths and sea salt peels. This large resort offers a range of 4-star accommodation with half-board and numerous wellness packages. The decor of the thermal pools is superb: imitation marble, Latin inscriptions, Roman statues and individual rest niches all around the infrastructure. The sauna area is very comprehensive, with plenty of choice, but unfortunately so popular that there's not enough room to lie down between two sessions.
