A big and beautiful room, very nicely decorated, a big bar with colored led for the atmosphere in this Italian restaurant which does not empty in winter. With a nice terrace and very attentive staff, you can taste pizzas (cooked in the flashy oven with golden mosaics) and pastas with all the sauces, traditional dishes and delicious house cocktails. Directly at the foot of the slopes with a breathtaking view, this address deserves a visit just next to the Olympics on the right of the resort. Congratulations to Miguel and his team for this lively place!

At the foot of the slopes at the very top of the resort, Els Flocs opens its doors to a beautiful little room with a retro 1930s decor! The heated terrace with a view is ideal in winter to watch your friends sliding down the slopes. Here, you can enjoy the royal Savoyard fondue with porcini mushrooms, a house specialty, or the house hamburger and its house fries... Also on the menu, typical and quality French and Andorran culinary proposals. Karine, the pretty owner, is all smiles. A delicious moment to share!

The owner of the Andorran restaurant changed at the end of 2022, and there are now three restaurants in the principality.

Perla Negra is a little cramped, and for good reason: it's simply full at dinner time. Here, no fuss, but real dishes, most of them gargantuan and all of them home-made and made to order. Clearly, the pirates are not in the plate (you'll see it's in relation to the decoration of the place), despite the evocative names given to the pizzas: the Black Pearls, the Blackbeard or the Jack Sparrow. The place is also frequented by football fans: seven screens broadcast live matches!

Here, at Angelo's, the service is impeccable and you will eat very good thin crust pizzas. They remain classic, but with some original touches such as apples, honey or green anise. There are also some very good appetizers like the melted provolone and the homemade croquettes. As for the decoration, it is a local artist who took care of giving the place its grey-white tones with touches of orange tree. Excellent value for money!

A must for anyone who loves Brittany and, above all, crêpes! New management in 2023. You'll find delicious, hearty galettes: wholemeal, duck breast and more. You can also choose the Angus hamburger with its tender, tasty meat, and tapas. The new trio of Manu, Julien and Fabien has also introduced a few new features. The decor (with iguanas in every corner, ceramics, portraits...) was completely redone in 2021. The terrace is always busy in summer and winter! An address worth discovering.

Its almost stealthy entrance via a building lobby makes it an address for connoisseurs. You first have to look up, spot the name of the restaurant on the first floor, then ring the intercom to get the door opened. Once installed in the pleasant room with its rustic decor, you will have to choose: cold cuts, cod in garlic mousseline, old-fashioned cabri, lamb chops or grilled rabbit? The paella and fideuà are excellent, as is the escargot a la brasa, a house specialty. One of the most authentic addresses in Pas de la Casa!

Pizzas and meats cooked on a wood fire, fresh pasta and French cuisine are to be discovered in the salmon and blue room and its large picture windows. With a yellow and white flowery tablecloth, this pizzeria has a very spring-like atmosphere and we love it! The team makes us taste good pizzas (no less than 15 different ones!) including the Coll d'Ordinal pizza which mixes sweet and salty, a must-try. Otherwise, the favourite dishes remain the fish, gambas, duck breast and confits, as well as the Escalope Val d'Aoste or the tarte Tatin.

Located in the historic district of Andorra la Vella, almost hidden, El Crostó has all the makings of a small authentic restaurant. The mountain bistro decor is very well done and the eight tables installed there are the assurance of a rather intimate meal. Before starting the service, the chef Jordi Sala "sings" the menu of the day to the customers. Typical dishes and conviviality are the order of the day in this place where the smell of good market food makes our mouths water while we wait to be served. Think of reserving, the places are expensive.

Located on the 3rd floor of the eponymous shopping centre, this restaurant offers an excellent free buffet with specialities on the menu. Freshness of products at the meeting: salads, sushi, fish, foie gras, cheese, salmon, seafood, grilled meats and daily dishes. For the gourmands, the formula "everything included" allows you to take it back. Dessert, assorted pastries, sweets, Italian ice creams. All with wines, cava, beer, etc., without extra charge. A pleasant surprise in this category.

You think you're in one of those trendy white and purple lounge bars, but no! Fresh, homemade burgers are strutting their stuffed plates. Diego and Laurent have been running this burger mecca for 8 years! Find the burger of the month or the most classic ones. We will note the attention of the ones and the others at the bar. Note the covered terrace, not far from the slopes, to admire the snow while tasting the house speciality, but also pizzas, salads as well as their famous "home made" desserts!

Craving to eat 100% Italian? The Arlequi is waiting for you in front of the Palau de Gel, and gives you a pleasant welcome. As the sign reminds us of the known areas, the garden is… clown! The restaurant pays tribute to Juniper by its colours, paintings and various objects. There are no clowning on the plate, here you will find pure Italian homemade cuisine. Gnocchis to the spaghetti - through the pizzas of course - to all sauces, bologna, basil, pesto, ceps… Value for money ratio!

This small, discreet restaurant on the main road down to Andorra la Vella is not to be missed. In a very warm rustic setting, brought up to date by Emmanuelle and Julien, you can enjoy authentic half-French, half-Catalan cuisine: delicious grilled meat, fish a la plancha, pizzas, excellent charcuterie and a real cassoulet! The portions are generous, the products of an obvious quality. This small restaurant with a terrace in summer is a highly recommended address.

Open for a good ten years, this trendy restaurant-bar-lounge attracts a wide variety of customers. In a beautiful little wooded room, you can enjoy international cuisine for all tastes. Dylan's is the ideal place for the hyperactive who, after a day of skiing in El Tarter, are not yet tired enough or for hamburger lovers... It is also worth noting that the establishment broadcasts the main football matches live. A rather pleasant polymorphic place where it is not rare to meet people.

Mama María is a huge bar-restaurant nestled in a chalet set against the rock of the mountain. It is more than pleasant to have lunch and dinner there, at a large table of blond wood, or even better, at the gigantic curve of the central bar, to the rhythm of the pressures and the heart of the discussions. Wood-fired pizzas, tapas, Andorran specialities or classic international dishes... Mama María is also a " cervesería ", so it's the right place to drink at any time. And as soon as the sun comes out, the garden is full of people.

It is impossible to miss this great restaurant in the centre of the Andorran capital, just opposite the tourist office. At the table, next to the classic Pyrenean dishes (entrecote, lamb chops and braised fish), some Alpine specialities have been copiously invited such as fondues (bourguignonne or cheese), raclettes or grolle to replace coffee. At Dos Caçadors (The Two Hunters), at the top of the main street, in the Rebés square, big appetites will be satisfied: they serve typical Andorran meat dishes, but also Mediterranean marine specialities, in a warm and unpretentious atmosphere. The small restaurant room, with its imposing wood panelling, is rustic and friendly, with a beautiful old cash register.

As its name suggests, the Criterium is a brand new address in the capital which has for theme the universe of the bicycle. The room, just a step from the bus station, displays a modern and minimalist decoration honoring the small queen! On the plate, the offer is very varied and rather with an international fusion tendency: gyozas from the Pyrenees, salmon tacos, rainbow hummus, papas bravas from the mountain, but also a selection of salads, burgers, exotic dishes AND very successful km0! Great coffee, homemade cakes and brunch formulas.

Installed in the old center of the capital, Eric Marty has no more proof to make: noon and evening, the restaurant is almost full of locals! On the menu, dishes particularly well worked but also skilfully presented, for the pleasure of the taste buds AND the eyes. The service room, an assembly of small elegant and confidential spaces, is the image of the service: courteous but warm, professional but not stuffy. A really good address, modern, inventive and with an honest price. We advise you to book, especially in the evening!

With its beautiful terrace overlooking the lake of Pessons, this restaurant is the ideal stopover to satisfy a small morning hunger while you are on the slopes, but also for a real lunch or even for a hearty dinner. On the program, a rich and typical Andorran cuisine(escudella, trinxat, mountain arroz and grilled meats) served in generous portions! Try to save some space for the homemade hot chocolate: a treat!

Impossible to miss with its fake cows grazing on fake grass, the Manacor restaurant overlooks the main road through El Tarter. It is THE place to go in the parish for those who want to enjoy thick slices of grilled beef. And in fact, there is a wide choice on the menu of this American ranch, a mountain version, with walls decorated with an impressive collection of miniature vehicles: next to the grilled meats, there is steak tartare, ribs with barbecue sauce, plates of cold cuts... In short, enough to satisfy even the strongest appetites!

Located on the first floor of a building at the entrance of the city of Encamp (at the traffic circle), this small unpretentious restaurant is run by a very nice Portuguese cook. On the menu, a fixed menu proposing a varied range of tapas as Spanish as can be, but also some suggestions of the day: seafood specialities but also some meats and roborative sandwiches! Very tasty desserts, very pleasant soundtrack and smiling service! We recommend it for a cheap and relaxed meal.

La Vaqueria is the main restaurant of the splendid Grau Roig hotel. Here you can choose between a series of rooms with the look of a chic chalet or the large terrace located just 50 meters from the chairlift. On the menu, you will find traditional Andorran dishes or more international preparations but always mountainous. The ingredients chosen are of the highest quality and you can feel the mastery of the kitchen team in each plate that comes out! Smart-sweet recommendation: the pistachio fondant is to die for!

Located on Carlemany Avenue in Escaldes-Engordany, Informal is a French and Mediterranean cuisine restaurant. In a rustic setting, dominated by light wood, you can enjoy thick cuts of meat as well as fish and seafood dishes (monkfish is incredibly well prepared). Some more international dishes, but no less successful, are also on the menu (pizza, pasta and salads). Also noteworthy is the fine selection of wines as well as the homemade desserts such as the excellent tiramisu.

An address as dapper and fresh as a freshly served cocktail! Le Mood lives up to its name: you come here to brighten up your mood to the sound of live music or an inspired DJ. The place is cool, even hype, without overdoing it, just like the preparations that come out of the kitchen. There are vegetarian portions to share, as well as more solid meat and fish dishes. A few exotic recipes are also on offer, to eat or drink: cocktails are one of the house specialties.

A little away from the hustle and bustle of the shopping streets, Plat'in is a small address that doesn't look like much, but which has been delighting locals and travelers alike for almost fifteen years (inaugurated on May 21, 2009). On the menu, small dishes of local inspiration made from ingredients that are also entirely from the surroundings. Proximity, quality and authenticity are the key words here! A healthy way to regain strength, in a friendly and local atmosphere. A real good address!

Ginza 41 is nothing less than the very first Japanese cuisine establishment in the Principality of Andorra. What's the best thing about this place? The basic products used for cooking are local. Thus, the most authentic Japanese culinary tradition is respected, even sublimated, thanks to quality ingredients. The place itself plays the card of the zen decoration: light woodworks on the walls and giant bonsai trees here and there contribute to create this feeling of travel in Asia. A real good address for raw fish lovers!

In the heart of the iconic Andorra Park Hotel, you'll find this exceptional restaurant run by chef Marc Mora. The man with the chef's hat works with local and fresh products to offer reinterpreted and tasty versions of traditional Andorran cuisine. Rice and stews, but also seafood and local meat dishes are offered in constantly renewed versions. A wonderful balance of flavors, enhanced by the aromas of the garden. Ramón Cabiscol, sommelier, will help you choose from the 300 labels in the cellar.

The Coma restaurant in the hotel of the same name has been run by the Riba family for generations. The service is done in the old-fashioned way for more authenticity and the gastronomic cuisine is the work of a chef who once worked in a Michelin starred restaurant. The menus vary according to the season, and have themes. Why not try the gargantuan tasting menu, with, among other things, poached egg bain-marie with truffle oil, monkfish suquet with crayfish, partridge with cal ventura vinaigrette.

This beautiful 18th century borda is not exactly in Sant Julià de Lòria, but on its heights, 3 km away, in the small village of Aixirivall. This establishment, run by Pilar and Toni, is a typical mountain restaurant that will appeal to gourmets. From onion soup to grilled cod, duck breast and even kid leg, the menu is rich and varied. You can enjoy Andorran specialities such as the famous trinxat or mountain rice. Beautiful views of the mountains.

In the warmth of an 18th century borda , here is a typical restaurant that is a pleasure to visit, run by Montse, a Catalan expatriate for a long time, and Kiko, a cheerful Andalusian. You can enjoy good mountain cuisine - especially excellent meat and grilled fish - in a family atmosphere, but also cold cuts, soups, pasta and salads prepared with products from the garden. The homemade desserts are sumptuous, such as the Pinya a la catalana (pineapple with cream), with pomegranate jam and limoncello.

Upstairs, above the SPAR supermarket, this nice resto-pub proposes a nice drinks menu and a no less incredible menu of dishes cooked on the grill (which gives a warm atmosphere to the place, which you won't regret in winter). On the menu, grilled food washed down with draft beers! Ideal after a day of skiing! For the amateurs, we can't recommend enough the pork ribs: huge and absolutely delicious!

Although recently opened, this address has the stamp of a medieval inn! It must be said that the walls that host this restaurant of typical Andorran gastronomy were put there, as the name of the restaurant suggests, more than three centuries ago, in 1693 to be precise. This old barn, which was used to keep the cattle warm during the winter, now offers delicious local dishes. Joël Sala, the chef, chooses his ingredients with love and prepares them in the respect of the tradition! A great discovery!

Located for decades in the center of Andorra la Vella, the Versailles restaurant is an institution, an embassy of the French gastronomy in Andorra. The chef Pep Ramos treats the inhabitants of the capital as well as the travelers of passage of numerous recipes prepared with mastery. The specialty of the house? The beef tartar cut with a knife and decorated with foie gras! And who says French restaurant says good wine, naturally! A real treat, and at an honest price!

Tucked away on the shores of Engolasters Lake, this family-run restaurant reclaimed in 2017 by a team from Picardy welcomes you in the warmest of ways. Whether you're skiing in the winter or hiking in the summer, Llac i Cel is a good place to stop and enjoy the tree-lined setting from the perched terrace as well as the quality of the Picardy cuisine. The establishment offers a lunch menu during the week (a little more expensive at the weekend), featuring mountain recipes, but also Picardy traditions, varying with the seasons.

This bar-restaurant with terrace is located right on the slopes, and needs no introduction! A continuous service from 9am to 6pm on the bar and restaurant side with simple and generous dishes, pizzas, meats and beautiful salads, occasionally fresh oysters, but also pancakes and waffles. Above all, Le Madison is the place to be after skiing in a festive, international atmosphere, with English, Spanish and French people mingling and celebrating. The service is fast and efficient! Regulars and locals alike flock here during the season in a spirit of open camaraderie.

Hidden in the ramparts of the Andorran capital, Can Manel combines the Flavour of traditional dishes. Here, no menu, everything chooses to the map. Moreover, those who, in ordinary times, have difficulty deciding will probably have difficulty choosing their entry from the list. Side dishes of resistance, fish or meat, of choice: Andorran trout, lapin rabbit, lamb chops, sheep, many stew (hare, rabbit, wild boar…). The desserts are really tasty. The room is small, therefore: book.

In a rather chic atmosphere, this restaurant offers stylish cuisine based on carefully baked seasonal products (almost with love). Here the service is impeccable and lunch in the adjoining garden is a beautiful experience.

Papanico offers a very successful setting, with 3 rooms and 2 dining options at the same address: "pica-pica", which consists in eating tapas on one side, and a classic restaurant on the other. For the (countless) tapas, we prefer the first room, close to the bar, with its high tables and heavy wrought iron stools. For the traditional cuisine, one will opt for the first room or the one at the back which opens on a garden. You will enjoy the anchovy dishes or the mussels a la plancha, but especially the fabulous paella with black rice.

To feed its shoppers, the Pyrénées shopping centre has not limited itself to a simple cafeteria. No, it offers a real quality restaurant reminiscent of the bistro spirit of Parisian brasseries called La Bohème. On the menu, nearly a dozen starters, then some meat and fish will be offered. Take a look at the well-stocked wine list. The only drawback is that the restaurant, located at the top of a covered shopping centre, is rather dark. A good option for a day of shopping.

Cheese aficionados will love this very good milky table! The restaurant works in collaboration with the famous Casa del Formatge, which is located in Sant Julià. The star dish here is the fondue... or rather fondues: the Savoyard and the Burgundian of course. Some meat dishes are also on the menu. And for dessert, it's chocolate fondue! If the prices are perhaps a little high considering the quantity, the quality is there. Mountain chalet atmosphere with miniature cows on the shelves!

At Le Marquet, you can choose between eating on the go (bistro style) in the delicatessen on the first floor, or in the restaurant upstairs, for a more refined cuisine. Here, you can buy everything you find on your plate (Iberian ham, cheeses and many other delicacies)! And the same goes for the wine! The Marquet's cellar houses a selection of more than 20,000 bottles (French, Spanish, Italian), among which are hidden some real treasures. A favorite address!

Although the chefs of Borda Raubert, a true Andorran institution for decades, have finally given up their aprons, the business has not stopped! The name has changed to Borda Les Xicoies and the chef Xavi Vendrell, a specialist in local recipes, is now in charge of the kitchen, adding a modern touch. Real good mountain cooking! A very authentic address that we highly recommend if you want to (re) discover the specialties of the region.

Comfort and warmth dominate the atmosphere of these places, which are undoubtedly among the best known and most appreciated in Andorra. You are welcomed with kindness in a rustic and charming room that almost makes you think you are in a tavern. In the dining room on the ground floor there is a huge grill, a favourite place for everything that can be browned. Local cuisine is served, presented with great taste and finesse: shoulder of lamb, fillet on the spit, duck foie gras, roasts... A sure value.

This is a real Andorran gastronomic borda as we like it! The menu at Moli dels Fanals includes pig's trotters with mushrooms, Catalan-style duck, trout with honey, cod carpaccio, chicken with crayfish, cuttlefish with meatballs and meats in pierrade. The service is always charming and warm, and the setting most picturesque. A word of advice: food lovers should keep a little room in their stomachs for the desserts... Very good value for money. Establishment adapted to the people with reduced mobility.

It is impossible to miss the traditional borda , under the sanctuary of Meritxell, which houses this restaurant. The slate walls, the typical Andorran cuisine and the surrounding mountains plunge us into a most pleasant rustic authenticity. Run by a young French couple, Borda l'Era del Rossell plays the local card, with chef Pierre making a point of elaborating a varied seasonal menu, both simple and full of flavour, where everything is home-made, while Jessica looks after the dining room, giving expert advice to customers.
