Thanks to its excellent cocktails and digestives, this unusual address attracts an after-dinner clientele. The waiter in costume walking us out the door tells us that O Procópio belongs to the ex-wife of the manager of the Pavilhão Chines!

With its superb terrace offering a panoramic view, Taverna Lusitana is already scoring points. You will be able to taste excellent products of the region: cheeses, wines, cold meats, honeys, jams, cookies... and drink mead on draught or a coffee to rest after the visit of the village. Warm and friendly atmosphere, nice welcome. For those who wish to extend their stay, the tavern has one room and two studios with kitchenette. All are equipped with television, heating and wifi.

This old red double-decker bus is still a trendy place with a terrace where you can drink a few copos until 2 or 3 in the morning, with a background of Anglo-Saxon music. Most of the clientele are students who like to party until noon! If you are older, you might feel out of place but the atmosphere is nice and it's a good place to meet people. During the day however, it is calmer and more heterogeneous. You can also eat good pancakes and watch soccer games. Not to be missed!

Far from being bizarre despite its name, this bar has been a veritable Albufeira institution since it opened in the mid-1970s. You'll be greeted with a warm welcome by the hostess. The cocktails and exhibitions regularly held here are a good start to your first evening on vacation. You'll also appreciate the background music and good-natured atmosphere, which encourages spontaneous socializing. Not to mention a front-row seat for the sunset.

The wine list is very complete so don't hesitate to ask about the best nectar to accompany your meal, the waiters will be happy to help you. Impeccable service.

A beautiful neoclassical building inaugurated in 1934, this casino has a mixed room, equipped with various traditional games (French bank, blackjack, ponto, bank and American roulette) and 650 slot machines. There is daily entertainment (363 days a year) in the Atrium Piano Bar or in the Salon d'Ouro, which, in addition to the gastronomic offer of the daily buffet dinner, is a privileged stage for great galas. Remember to play in moderation and within your budget to avoid a bad day.

This restaurant is located in an old palace: the Duque de Lafões Palace, a building that has three centuries of history and opens its doors for the first time. During the day, it looks more like a classic restaurant, but in the evening, it transforms into a meal in the middle of a live theater performance. An artistic experience for all audiences where food for the mind and body are mixed. Take the opportunity to stroll through the different rooms of the palace and its garden. After all, it's not every day you get to eat in a palace!

This is one of the must-see places in Ericeira. A big part of the night life happens here, for sure! Of course with this breathtaking view on the sunset, we are conquered. This beach bar is attached to the hotel You and The Sea and the restaurant Jangada. Moreover, you will be able to enjoy on the spot the food prepared by this last one. DJ sets are organized regularly and, icing on the cake, the artist Bordalo II decorated the place with his impressive sculptures made of various materials found in the street.

The counterpoint of the Kremlin, another club in Lisbon... The Plateau Club is more rock (soft, pop and the classics) for lack of being the youngest, but it welcomes a friendly atmosphere (20-40 years), very 1980s. Considered before as the best club in town, its beautiful decoration manages to make it coquettish: Indian patterns, columns and velvet cushions. The multicolored lightings (sublime), the light show and all the tralala it is not bad either! Be careful though, it seems that it is not very LGBT friendly.

A little away from it all on the way from the Assembly of the Republic to Príncipe Real, a place founded in 1978 that's extraordinary and comfortable enough to take a break or spend the evening. Several salons follow one another. With all its collections, the first one is furiously reminiscent of the Pavilhão Chines, created later in 1986: this is to be expected, since it was the same decorator Luíz Pinto Coelho who designed them. There's even a parrot to greet visitors. It's all part of a chic, somewhat exotic London pub vibe where you ring the doorbell.

A reference in fado, everyone knows this establishment with its traditional and elegant setting. For those who only want to hear the best of the best, the lair of the famous Maria da Fé has been faithful to the post since 1975. The singers are excellent: Ana Moura or Camané performed in this place very appreciated by the Portuguese gotha, that is to say! By taking care of your clothes, you are sure to spend a good evening enjoying traditional cuisine:goat in the oven, cataplanas, arroz de mariscos...

Located at the foot of Bairro Alto, it is an indie bar-discoteca with two distinct spaces on three half levels. One of the places everyone goes to after the bars close. Near the entrance, tables and sofas invite you to chat while at the bottom the track is reserved for those who like to dance! The decoration changes regularly, except for the famous and treacherous floor of the lowest level. The rock nights new wave, synth-pop and post-punk very 1980s and 1990s are already part of the club's history. Recommended for fans of the genre.

Between Estrela and Campo de Ourique, it is one of the best kept secrets of the city. This mini Pavilhão Chines (see Bairro Alto) is a hidden but very cosy space, with lots of beautiful objects and some pictures hanging on the walls. You can enjoy excellent tostadas and sip a cocktail. Named after the satirical review of cartoonist Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro, A Paródia has been offering poetry, theatre and music evenings since its opening in 1975 (thanks to a piano placed in one of its small pieces).

Behind the Mercado da Ribeira, this club-bar is a stopover not to be missed during the Lisbon night. A medium-sized room with a refined decoration and magical lantern-like lighting effects and a large welcoming square. Clientele of all ages, moderate prices and music mixed by rather well inspired DJs (house, break-beat, curiosities...). As for the Saturday atmosphere, it's a concert of noisy hands and dancing on the tables: the Lounge is one of the last places to close at night in the centre of Lisbon!

Launched in 1994 by a young Barcelona native, Natxo Checa, who left his country to escape military service, the stirring collective Zé Dê Bê has taken over an entire building including: an exhibition gallery for contemporary artists in residencies and a small concert and performance hall. On weekends, there is always something interesting going on. Drinks at the bar are cheap, and there is even a small outdoor patio with a beautiful terrace, very pleasant to chat on. Association created in 1992 for Brazilians living in Lisbon and lovers of Brazil, helping newcomers to settle in Portugal, especially with visa problems. A Severa (Maria Severa Onofriana, bohemian courtesan murdered in 1846, at the age of 26) was the first great Portuguese fadist, today other names pay homage to her ao vivo: Linda Santos, Elsa Coimbra, Natalino de Jesus or João Queiros, answer the call punctuated by folkloric interludes. For its traditional Portuguese cuisine(lulas recheadas, cabrito assado), count at least 35 € per person, which is not very excessive for a fado house that we are told has become a tourist trap!

A Capela is one of the obligatory addresses of the Bairro Alto, with its nostalgic neo-baroque decoration. The place is very lively, especially at the end of the evening. Several resident DJs inspired by various local and international influences are distilling electronic music, dub and groove, installed near the bar. A glamour that will please everyone who wants to move! A Capela's Facebook page broadcasts upcoming events almost daily. An undeniable place to have fun with friends and meet new people.

So there you have it, you'll quickly appreciate the setting and its quality musical ambience (jazz, reggae, drum'n'bass...), which varies according to the DJ. Small salads, daily specials, spicy fresh cheese... For a snack or a drink, it's also a pleasant place to chill out in the early evening or drop in at the end of the night when the other bars close. A pretty facade designed outside, the space also lends its walls to photo exhibitions.

One of the historical places of the Lisbon night since 1971. It moved in 2022 to join the no less famous Titanic on Sea. Located in the famous pink street for decades, the club was closed for two years, like Tokyo and Europa. They will be back in the same place. The program should remain similar to the one before and you will find the DJ Brunio Dias. Gathering for thirty years old and well beyond, the good-natured space is deserved on Friday and Saturday, come early, around 1:30 am, to avoid an interminable line..

It quickly became an institution of the capital's nightlife, and can host a DJ and VJ session (multimedia), a rock concert or an experimental jazz performance. This modern concert hall, of which Alex Cortez (bassist of the Rádio Macau group) is co-manager, also offers film cycles and audiovisual workshops. As you enter this place, you are plunged into a bar that oscillates between the 1930s and 1950s. The Paginas Tantas presents itself under the auspices of jazz. Bar as sinuous as the waves on the ceiling, posters of concerts or musicians, soft seats, superb lamps... It's beautiful and select.
