It's THE trendy club in town, where one international DJ after another keeps the crowd dancing into the wee hours.

Manuel Reis, the former leader of Frágil (Bairro Alto), opened Lux in 1998, and it has since become an emblematic club in Europe. As everywhere, the quality of the evenings depends on the crowds they attract, but the musical programming remains cutting-edge (electronic music, mainly techno and house) and the resident DJs and artists are respected in the milieu. The decor could do with a little sprucing up, but between the rooftop facing the river, the basement and the bar on the^1st floor, there's certainly plenty of fun to be had.

Fuyez ce club ! La discrimination au 21eme siècle ! Le videur à l'entrée ne laisse pas entrer les étrangers s'ils ne payent pas 240 euros par personne (et oui, par personne), alors que les portugais rentrent sans problème. Quelle honte ! Allez plutôt à Urban Beach, c'est top !

This box had been recommended me by friends who lived in Lisbon and I was not disappointed. A sumptuous decor, bars with all corners of box what has good accessibility. The roof of box is also furnished with large armchairs where you can chat easily because the music is less strong. The music is varied and nice. We did not see time to go to the small day...
