Chinquante: no, there's no extra letter in this name, it's just the way of saying (and writing) the number of the Manche department in local dialect! And that's not all, because Chinquante is also the name of an incredible variety of beers, developed and produced in Saint-Vaast! Launched by a group of young enthusiasts, the business not only offers pale and amber beers, but also a number of original creations, some of which are made in secret. Cédric, Julien and Sébastien. three friends from Aussois, mountain dwellers before they were brewers, decided to create their own beer with the flavors of Aussois. BAPBAP - for Brassée à Paris, Bue à Paris - is a microbrewery born from the passion of two entrepreneurs wanting to produce a local craft beer. In 2014, the company took up residence not far from République in a 1,800^m2 building with a metal structure. From grain crushing to bottling, the beers are all produced on site. In the fall of 2022, BAPBAP will offer nine permanent beers, including the Originale (the first to come out of the vats) and three organic beers, as well as ephemeral and barrique beers. Since its creation in 2016 by Alexandre de Zordi, a seasoned cyclist, this craft brewery has gone from strength to strength, producing 2,000 liters of beer a day. Craig Allan is a reserved and passionate person. This Scotsman moved to France many years ago. After working in whisky and beer in Great Britain, he chose Picardy to set up his own brewery. He has always had a very precise idea of craft beer, and doesn't hesitate to use a wide variety of hops. Behind this pretty name, a link between the beverage and the nearby sea, lies the know-how of two young locals. Brown, blond, white: the beer elaborated here in the rules of art is full of flavors, strong and soft, and is acquired according to half-liter bottles. The complex includes a nice beach bar, open every day in summer.

With his unique style, Jérémy, intrepid hop captain, has created his own microbrewery. Passionate about his craft, Jérémy has traded in his insurance suit for the more authentic attire of a brewer. From blondes to IPAs, he boldly sails the waves of brewing flavors. But what makes his work so unique is his willingness to develop customized brews and collaborations with restaurants (Bière des Poutineurs with maple syrup). And for special occasions, he offers a mobile "bar-van" and beer taps for hire.

This is the story of three boys: Alexandre Faupin, Mr Technical, Nicolas Seyve, Mr Production, and Jean-David Camus, Mr Image, who had in common the love of beer and their beloved town of Beaune. In May 2014, they therefore founded a brewery. There were no more since the 1950 s. They named him Belenium, in tribute to the Gallic god of harmony and beauty, the Apollo of our ancestors. Nestled between the Fontainebleau forest, the Seine and the Loing, Sylvain Boursier and Boris Penot's brewery is truly a tribute to the country, embodying better than anyone else this locavore spirit returned to the land, proximity and sustainable development. The micro-brewery practices its art according to the strict rules of craft beer, with malt and hops, a little yeast and sugar and nothing else! They offer a narrow range of classics, named after the local favorite sport of climbing, as well as a good range of ephemeral beers (or not!).

For almost twenty-five years now, the Rabourdin brewery has been one of the oldest microbreweries in the département, and a model of development, combining family management with respect for traditional methods. Today, the brewery has an audience that extends beyond the region, embodying Brie beer throughout France, notably through its beer ranges, such as the famous Briarde. Tours are available on reservation.

After fifteen years in public works and management, Ludivine and Sébastien decided to change their lives, and open their own microbrewery in 2015. Today, the company holds a firm place in the Ile-de-France brewing landscape, with a solid range of around ten cuvées, including triple miel, bière à la cerise, 77 IPA and 77 happy blonde. These beers can be purchased direct from the brewery or via their click & collect e-boutique. Guided tours of the brewery are also available.

Nicolas Beaussier's microbrewery, which opened next to the Meaux train station in 2018, offers a fine range of craft beers, including both permanent and ephemeral cuvées. The brewer favors short circuits and natural products, notably in his signature beers, Brie Conique with honey, and Rosée du Saule, made with hibiscus flower. Gaëtan Bouyer, from Clermont-Ferrand's Salvation Jane pub, and Guillaume Aucouturier have opened their brew pub in the place of a famous restaurant. The vaulted hall houses the bar and restaurant area, where you can enjoy their different beers. Upstairs, their microbrewery, where recipes and beers come to life. The choice is wide: a dozen draught beers should be on offer. You're bound to like one of them! A menu of flammekueche, hot dogs, burgers and truffles, of course, accompanies the beers.

It was Jacques Ravonneaux who, in the 1980s, took over his uncle's small brewery business, leaving his job at Solvay. The small warehouse hidden behind the church has metamorphosed into a giant showcase since 2010 on more than 2,400 ^m2, not counting the shelving. Impossible to miss it, facing the airport, along the RN 73 between Tavaux and Dole. The Ravonneaux family has become one of the greatest French beer specialists. More than 1,300 references for sale! An impulse that we owe to Janine, the sister, but above all to Claude, both of whom disappeared too soon. Claude was nicknamed "the Pope of Beer"! The store's 400 ^m2 are divided into thematic modules: glassware (including beer bottles), party items, alcoholic beverages, whisky and rum cellar, wine cellar. The loose tea and coffee space tickles the nostrils as soon as you cross the threshold. The evenings come alive with tastings discovered during the year. The open house in April is always popular with both professionals and private individuals.

After 10 years as an amateur brewer, Julien Cêtre launched himself into the great bath of professional hops. But not the way a Montbéliard bull could do it. Tired of the "standardised" and in love with foam, the bovine engineering technician is not a little proud of producing "a really good home-made beer". It must be said that his farm receives pure water from the Ivrey spring that gushes from nearby Mont Poupet. It should be noted that his village, with a few dozen souls, rises out of a forest in the foothills of the first mountain plateau. Juju, as his friends call him, is now at the head of 3 permanent beers (a blonde American pale-ale type, a refreshing and fruity white, a redhead with caramelized notes). But the family is growing throughout the year with "ephemeral" beers called "Vachement Noël", "Vachement terrible", "Vachement noir", "Vachement fumée". And if you come in the summer, you will be entitled to the "Vachement Estiv'ale".

Nadine Labelle and her partner Philippe Paillard consider this activity to be "a popular art". In their workshop, they draw inspiration from different styles to develop their range of beers. You will taste "classics" and special beers depending on the season. Some of them include fruit from the orchard and maturation in Jura wine barrels.
