Read moreOwned by the Lamothe family since 1730, Château Haut-Bergeron, with its 168 awards, is one of the most decorated in the Sauternes appellation. Produced from a hundred or so small plots spread over the entire appellation area (26 hectares of old vines, some of which were grafted in 1903), the harvest is finishing its ageing process in oak barrels in three cellars, which, for example, did not see the 1993 vintage, deemed not worthy enough for bottling.
