Day 1: Day 1: Arrival in Mexico City

Your private English-speaking guide will be waiting for you upon your arrival at the Mexico City airport and will drive you to your hotel. A member of Mexico Discovery will come to give you your travel book in person.

Day 2: Day 2: The archaeological zone of Teotihuacan

Steps: Teotihuacán

Teotihuacan, also known as "The City of the Gods", is the largest archaeological site in Mesoamerica. It was built and abandoned by a people still unknown.


Your guide will then take you to visit the historic center of Mexico City to conclude the day.

Day 3: Day 3: The Mexico of the Mexicans

It is with the historian of our team that you will leave for an atypical circuit to learn more about the daily life of the Mexicans. You will visit the high places of the life of the capitalinos (inhabitants of Mexico City), you will understand the organization of the city, and the flagrant differences with our good old Europe.

Day 4: Day 4: The mysterious Cholula

You will leave with your guide to Cholula, famous for its Great Pyramid built by the different ethnic groups that populated the sacred city. A whole network of underground galleries will lead you from one end to the other of this immense pyramid. You will then visit the historical center of the old Puebla.

The "El Chiflon" waterfalls in Chiapas are the largest and most powerful in the region. Organized as an eco-tourist center, the natural park is ideal for swimming. The river runs through the valley forming numerous pools and waterfalls. The surprise is far from total because the most beautiful waterfalls are in the distance.

Day 12: Day 12: Heading to Palenque

With your guide, you will set out early in the morning to penetrate even further into the Chiapas jungle. You will be able to admire the fauna and flora in their wildest state and you may have the opportunity to see howler monkeys that animate the forests.

Day 13: Day 13: The archaeological site of Palenque

On the way to Valladolid, you will find the small village of Uayma. The temple of Santo Domingo is the main attraction of the place. With its beautiful red facade that recalls the colors of the Yucatan, you will also be able to see the remains of Mayan vestiges, used as materials during the construction of this Catholic temple.

Day 18: Day 18: Visit to the Ría Lagartos Biosphere

At the confluence of the waters of the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea, the Ria Lagartos Nature Reserve is one of the last natural refuges for a considerable number of species.


You will then go to Ek Balam, which means black jaguar in Maya. It has one of the most beautiful Mayan bas-reliefs, as well as the Acropolis pyramid from the top of which you will have a magnificent view of the jungle.
