Day 1: Arrival in Maputo

Steps: Maputo

Arrival in the morning in Maputo. Walk in the upper town in the afternoon and visit a museum of choice. In the evening, you will be spoilt for the choice for dinner.

Day 2: Maputo visit, first contact with Mozambique

Steps: Maputo, Catembe

Walk in the morning, with a visit of the Mercado central, the train station and the port. Excursion to Catembe in the afternoon, lunch on site at the Catmebe Gallery Hotel. Return to Maputo, evening in music in one of the lively bars of the city (Wednesday to Sunday).

Day 3: Departure for Pemba, in the far north

Steps: Pemba

Domestic flight to Pemba in the morning. Lunch on the beach, relaxation, then excursion into town. Walk back to the beach for the evening.

Day 4: The beaches of Pemba: Take advantage of the Indian Ocean

Steps: Pemba

Nautical activities in Pemba, according to tastes: diving, fishing, kayaking.

Day 5: Mueda, in the heart of the Makonde country

Steps: Mueda

Early morning departure for Mueda (car rental or 2-3 hours in chapas). Visit of the city and its surroundings. Shopping for art objects. Overnight in the concession of a Makonde family.

Day 6: Pangane Beach, a symphony of turquoise blues and emerald greens

Steps: Pangane

Return to Pangane beach (the country's most beautiful coconut grove) or Guludo beach (for those who prefer comfort and activities). Overnight stay.

Day 7: Quirimbas Archipelago: Island of Ibo

Steps: Ibo

Transfer to dhow to the island of Ibo. Visit the town to the sunset and little drink on the terrace.

Day 8: Visit to the island of Ibo

Visit the island, meet the locals, relax on a stretch of beach or why not try your hand at scuba diving.

Day 9: Luxury stopover in the Quirimbas archipelago

Steps: Medjumbe

Plane transfer to Medjumbe Island or boat for that of Quilalea, history of tasting once in its life the charms of a luxury establishment on a paradise island to green any advertising.

Day 10: Back to Pemba

Steps: Pemba

Transfer by plane to Pemba. Enjoy the hotel and/or the beach.

Day 11: Mozambique Island, a must-see!

Steps: Île De Mozambique

Early morning departure for theisland of Mozambique (Ilha de Moçambique). Day's stroll through the ruins of the old town; visit to the Governor's Palace and the Marine Museum, or a guided tour organized by the tourist office to get a good overview of the city. Stop off at the fish market near the mosque for a sunset.

Day 12: Visit and relaxation on the island of Mozambique

Get up early in the morning - sunrise on the island is superb! A relaxing day on the island or a excursion excursion on a nearby island.

Day 13: Mozambique Island: the beaches of Chocas and Carrusca

Day trip. The magnificent beaches of Chocas and Carrusca, on the northeast coast of the Mossuril peninsula, not far from the village of Cabaceira Grande, are ideal for walks, swimming and sunbathing in magnificent surroundings.

Day 14: Island of Mozambique - Nampula

Steps: Nampula

A quiet morning on the island. Departure after lunch for Nampula; arrival in Nampula in the middle of the afternoon. Visit the city and its church; ask for the keys to climb to the top. Dinner in a quinta outside the city.

Day 15: Nampula-Lichinga

Steps: Lichinga, Metangula, Cobué

Domestic flight to Lichinga and immediate departure by 4x4 to Metangula and Cobue. Late arrival in a lodge, after a quick star transfer.

Day 16: Niassa Lake, a true haven of peace at the end of the world

Water activities (diving in the crystal waters of the lake is an unforgettable experience), visit the bush and villages in the surrounding area. A magical day on the edge of a lake that looks like Seychelles!

Day 17: Navigation on Lake Niassa

Steps: Lichinga, Metangula

Sailing on Lake Niassa from Cobué to Metangula on the regular MV Ilala service, then departure for Lichinga.

Day 18: Lichinga-Beira

Steps: Beira

Domestic flight to Beira. Arrival in the city in the afternoon; visit, take a look at its prison and relax on the beach for an aperitif and dinner.

Day 19: Gorongosa National Park, the time of a safari

Steps: Parc National De Gorongosa

Morning departure for Gorongosa park. Visit of the park and night in an on-site lodge.

Day 20: From Gorongosa to Vilanculos

Steps: Vilankulo

Safari in the park until mid-day; then departure for Vilanculos. Provide a good day of road. Arrival in the evening.

Day 21: The Bazaruto Archipelago, dream stopover

Steps: Benguerra, Bazaruto

Departure to the island of Bazaruto or Benguerra in the morning. Afternoon riding, diving or other water sports.

Day 22: The archipelago of Bazaruto

Relaxing day on the island: boating activity, relax or excursion on a nearby island.

Day 23: Inhambane, a peaceful colonial town

Steps: Inhambane, Vilankulo

Morning transfer to Vilanculos, then on to Inhambane. Arrival by boat, city tour and visit to the museum. Overnight at a hotel near the beach (Tofo, Barra or Jangamo, depending on taste and interests).

Day 24: Inhambane and its beaches

Water sports and beach.

Day 25: Inhambane and surroundings

Excursions to nearby beaches, or boat trips in the area. The farniente version on the beach is also always popular!

Day 26: Bilène, the sweet one

Departure for Bilène. Lunch on the beach, visit to the lagoon and surrounding area. Overnight stay.

Day 27: Return to Maputo

Steps: Maputo

Departure for Maputo. Visit of the fishermen's village and walk on Avenida Marginal, dinner in the fish market. Enjoy last night life.

Day 28: Maputo-Paris

Return to Paris. With the certainty that you will come back one day!
