The islands of Medjumbe and Vamizi are not part of the Quirimbas National Park. However, although they are associated with luxury tourism, often with an arrival by private plane in an ultra-confidential lodge, they are indeed two small jewels of the archipelago. Here the sand is immaculate and the water translucent. A heavenly setting that is not accessible to all and is earned by purchasing power, because on the tiny island of Medjumbe reigns as master of the place the Anantara Lodge, currently closed. The landing at Medjumbe is quite extraordinary: after the runway, a long sandy strip that sinks into a shade of blue.
